"Excellent service."

Our flight from Amsterdam to Singapore with KLM was delayed and landed just before the departure of our connecting flight to Koh Samui. At the gate, we were told we still had a chance to make it—and we did, arriving just 5 minutes late. The plane had actually waited for us! Thanks to Bangkok Airways, we reached our holiday destination on time. Our luggage was delivered to our hotel just 4 hours later by taxi. Truly impressive service. Thank you!

"Monopoly on Samui & Trat, avoid if you can"

Overall, I don't mind Bangkok Airways—the service is decent and their flight times are convenient. However, my main issue is that they own Koh Samui and Trat airports, effectively giving them a monopoly over these destinations. As a result, ticket prices are often 3 times higher than comparable routes to places like Krabi or Phuket. I try to avoid using Bangkok Airways whenever possible to boycott what I consider an unfair pricing practice.

"Surprisingly good."

We were pleasantly surprised by how well the flight was handled. The cabin crew was friendly and the service was prompt. What impressed us most was the generous legroom on the Airbus A319—it didn’t feel cramped at all, unlike some so-called top airlines. A very nice experience overall!

"Amazing customer service"

My overall experience was excellent! First of all, we were served lunch on a domestic flight—something you rarely see these days. Then, upon arrival, I noticed one of the wheels on my checked luggage was broken. I reported it to passenger services right at the airport. All they asked for was my hotel information and departure date. That same day, they picked up the luggage from my hotel, replaced the broken wheel with the exact same color, and returned it the very next day. I was totally amazed by the efficiency and attention to detail. I definitely recommend this airline!

"Bangkok airways professional service"

What truly stood out was the politeness, respect, integrity, and honesty of the staff and flight attendants. They spoke excellent English and communicated with passengers in a respectful and professional manner. I highly recommend flying with Bangkok Airways—I certainly will again next time. In contrast, my experience with Thai Airways was disappointing, and I would not recommend them.

"Bangkok air offices in Chaweng"

After previous frustrating experiences, our visit to the Bangkok Airways office in Chaweng was completely turned around thanks to Ms. Bongkot. She went above and beyond to resolve a serious issue with my Flyer Bonus membership—something that had been mishandled the previous year by another staff member who provided incorrect information. Ms. Bongkot personally contacted the head office, resolved the issue while we waited, and then helped us book our tickets to Bangkok. Even when we realized we had mistaken the travel date and missed our flight, she remained incredibly helpful and promptly rebooked everything for us. Thank you, Ms. Bongkot—you are a true example of outstanding customer service. Keep shining!

"Okay Experience"

My experience with Bangkok Airways was mixed. Check-in was quite frustrating—despite arriving at the airport two hours early for a domestic flight, the check-in counter was inexplicably closed and only opened 40 minutes later, leaving me unnecessarily stressed about potentially missing my flight. Unlike other airlines, there were no separate baggage drop counters, and their signage was dull and difficult to spot, making the whole process unnecessarily confusing. Once on board, there was no explanation or announcement about the delayed departure; we simply sat there past the scheduled time until three more passengers boarded. A simple update or apology would have gone a long way. The aircraft itself also felt outdated, with visibly worn carpets. On the positive side, the vegetarian rice meal and dessert were surprisingly tasty, we ended up arriving much earlier than scheduled, and I was given a seat near the front of the aircraft (though service remained the same as economy). Overall, while there were a few positives, the disorganized check-in process and lack of communication left a lot to be desired.

"Always great!"

Bangkok Airways consistently offers great service and excellent value for money. I've never encountered delays, and the journeys have always been smooth. The staff are friendly and attentive, even on very short flights like Bangkok to Trat. A nice bonus is the complimentary snacks and drinks available at Trat airport, which adds to the overall positive experience.

"on time , lounge access"

The flight was on time and smooth, with the added bonus of lounge access—a nice touch. The onboard Wi-Fi worked well (unlike at LHR), and the snacks and drinks were of good quality. While the aircraft showed some signs of aging, it performed reliably. I also appreciated the flexibility during COVID, with flight changes made without penalties, and the free seat selection was a welcome feature. Thank you for the considerate service.

"Delayed"

We purposely booked the last flight of the day (26.12.2022) from Suvarnabhumi to Koh Samui, hoping to arrive early enough to explore a bit. Unfortunately, the flight was delayed by 1 hour and 15 minutes, which made it quite late by the time we landed. Considering the cost per kilometer, this is a very expensive airline. The pre-booked meal onboard was also worse than expected. I’ll probably end up flying with them again—mainly because there’s not much choice when flying to Koh Samui.
