"I think this company is quite good…"

I think this company is quite good—especially when compared to airlines like Tunisair, which has been catastrophic in my experience. That said, I haven’t had to cancel a booking or contact their customer service yet, so I can’t comment on how they handle issues. But overall, my experience so far has been positive.

"Disgusting!"

This was one of the nastiest experiences of my life. At Tunis Airport, the staff showed zero sense of customer service. Even the so-called customer service manager, Saja—who works at the airline’s head office in Nabeul, Tunisia—provided a terrible experience. I’ve been waiting over three months for a refund and tax reimbursement, which I still haven’t received. She offered me vouchers, but I never got anything. The lack of professionalism and extremely slow service from these individuals are damaging the airline’s reputation. I didn’t take the flight and I demand my money back.

"3 hours delay for flight from Geneva"

Our flight from Geneva was delayed by 3 hours, and there was absolutely no information provided at the airport until just an hour before take-off. Trying to claim compensation through their website was equally frustrating—the form crashes with an "ERR0500" error every time I try to submit it. I was about to give Nouvelair a 1-star rating, but honestly, my return flight with Tunisair was even worse.

"Terrible airline they have caused…"

Absolutely terrible experience with Nouvelair. My family and I booked a holiday through Love Holidays, only to have it completely disrupted by this airline. First, my son's flight to Tunis was canceled without explanation, forcing him to change his travel dates. That left me and my daughter flying separately and losing a day of our holiday without him—clearly due to overbooking. Then, just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, Nouvelair canceled our return flight too. They didn’t even notify us—we only found out because I emailed them after being unable to access their website. Their response? A blunt confirmation of the cancellation, with no apology whatsoever. Now we’re forced to book with another airline at our own expense, and we've had to pay more to rearrange our plans through Love Holidays—all because of Nouvelair’s poor service. I’ll never fly with them again, and I hope others see this warning before going through the same mess.

"Does not deserve the low score"

I’ve just returned from a fantastic week in Tunisia, flying with Nouvelair—and despite my initial concerns after reading so many negative reviews, the experience turned out to be absolutely fine. I had booked my flights before checking the reviews and, admittedly, felt very nervous once I read them. I promised myself that if my experience was positive, I’d share it to offer some balance. To my relief, Nouvelair was comparable to budget carriers like Ryanair or Norwegian in terms of comfort and basic amenities. The aircraft on both legs of the journey was clean and surprisingly comfortable, with decent legroom. The crew were warm and welcoming, and I appreciated the option to buy mini bottles of Tunisian wine onboard for just €1 each—a lovely touch! The only downside was the lack of online check-in, which meant queuing at Gatwick for nearly an hour. That’s definitely something the airline needs to improve. Also, be mindful of the strict cabin baggage policy—at Tunis airport, carry-ons were weighed, and the limit is 8kg. Exceed that, and you'll need to lighten your load or pay to check your bag in. All in all, I had a very pleasant flight experience with Nouvelair. Aside from the check-in issue, everything else went smoothly.

"I will never again use this airline again !"

I will never use this airline again—never! I paid for extra luggage at Istanbul Airport (IST) for my flight on May 26th, 2025, only to arrive at my destination without my suitcase. It’s now been a full week, and my bag is still missing. What’s worse is the complete lack of communication and accountability. I’ve called multiple times, only to be told they have no idea when (or if!) my suitcase will be delivered. This situation has caused me unexpected expenses and a tremendous amount of stress. This is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. It’s been one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had, and I will absolutely never fly with this airline again.

"Flight with Nouvelair Was awful"

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my recent flight with Nouvelair was genuinely awful. The flight was delayed by 2 hours—1 hour due to a late arrival and another hour because the cabin crew couldn’t manage the luggage situation. There wasn’t enough overhead storage space, leaving passengers stuck in the aisle unable to move. Boarding alone took an entire hour, which was just absurd. Onboard, there were no basic amenities—no Wi-Fi, no phone charging ports—nothing. Overall, it was a chaotic and uncomfortable experience that I would not want to repeat.

"By far the worst airline I’ve ever…"

By far the worst airline I’ve ever encountered—they don’t even deserve one star. My outbound flight from England to Tunisia was cancelled without any notice, neither to me nor my travel provider (Loveholidays). I only found out by chance while trying to manage my booking and select a seat, which kept returning error messages. There was absolutely no email, no update, no communication at all. Had I not checked in advance, I would have arrived at the airport 23 weeks pregnant, completely unaware that my flight had been cancelled. The level of negligence and lack of responsibility shown by Nouvelair is unacceptable. I will never book with them again.

"Worst experience they let other people…"

This was the worst experience I've had with an airline. They let others board without issue but charged me a few hundred dollars for my carry-on luggage. It was outrageous—there were no clear rules or information about the charges, and everything felt random. This lack of transparency and fairness means it will definitely be my first and last time using their services.
