"Great Value Traditional French Dining for a Perfect Date Night"
This lovely restaurant offers great service and a charming atmosphere. We opted for the Prix Fixe menu, with a few extras, and for £30, it was fantastic value. The food was really nice, well-cooked, and very traditional — while it wasn’t particularly exciting, the quality was excellent. If you're looking for a decent French restaurant in London, perfect for a date night, you can’t go wrong here. A great spot for a relaxed and enjoyable evening!
"Traditional French Cuisine in a Pleasant Setting"
This restaurant offers traditional French food in a nice, cozy environment. While the atmosphere is lovely, the prices are a bit on the higher side for what you get. The food is good, but it may not justify the cost for some. Ideal for those looking for a classic French dining experience but be prepared for the price.
"Classic French Dining with Delicious Escargots"
@lescargotsoho is the oldest French restaurant in London, and its charm really shows. The service was incredibly friendly — big thanks to the waiter who went above and beyond to take some lovely photos of us! We had a wonderful time enjoying the cozy atmosphere. The escargots were absolutely my favorite and a must-try dish. They were flavorful and perfectly prepared. As for the other dishes, they were decent but didn’t particularly stand out. The linguine was good, but unfortunately, the risotto was too salty for my taste, and I couldn’t finish it. Overall, a nice experience with great service and a standout dish in the escargots!
"Overhyped and Overpriced French Dining Experience"
While this is a decent French restaurant in London, it didn’t live up to the hype or justify the price. We started with half a dozen escargots, which were fine but not memorable. For mains, we had the duck confit and filet with foie gras — unfortunately, the duck tasted a bit off, and while the filet was decent, it didn’t stand out in any way. The service was average at best — neither attentive nor particularly friendly. Given the high prices, we expected a much better quality of food and a more polished experience. Sadly, it fell short on both fronts. Wouldn’t recommend it if you're looking for a truly exceptional dining experience.
"A Hidden Oasis in Soho with First-Class Dining"
This beautiful restaurant is truly an oasis in the heart of Soho. The atmosphere is quiet, dimly lit, and acoustically perfect — you can actually have a conversation at your table without having to shout. The food is first-class, making for an excellent dining experience. If you're looking to enjoy this all at a more affordable price, definitely go for the Prix Fixe menu. Just be aware that drinks can add a significant amount to the bill. Be sure to book in advance, as this gem is definitely worth reserving a spot!
