"Disappointing Matcha Latte"
I had high hopes for this place, but the matcha latte fell short — it was quite bland and lacked the depth of flavor I was expecting. A bit of a letdown, especially given the hype.
"Beautifully Designed and Flavorful Coffee"
Omotesando Koffee stands out with its Japanese-inspired aesthetic and sleek, modern interior. The Americano I ordered was rich in flavor without any bitterness — a pleasant surprise. Despite visiting on a busy afternoon, the wait was manageable, and I even managed to grab a seat. That said, it’s definitely more suited for a quick grab-and-go experience, as the seating isn’t the most comfortable. Still, I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely return to try more of their coffee offerings.
"Excellent Drinks & Vibe, Though a Bit Cramped"
This lovely little coffee shop has a sleek, minimalistic vibe and a great location—perfect for grabbing a quality drink on the go. I met some friends there before an event and we enjoyed our drinks inside. The hot chocolate was rich and full of flavor (just wish it came in a larger mug!), and my partner’s mocha was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Seating is quite limited and not the most comfortable, and it can get cramped when busy. Also, there’s no customer toilet. But for the quality of the drinks and chill vibe, it’s definitely worth checking out.
"A Minimalist Gem Near Oxford Circus – Matcha Perfection"
Omotesando Koffee is a hidden sanctuary just off Oxford Circus — a minimalist haven with warm wood interiors, sharp, efficient service, and a serene, curated atmosphere. With only 12 seats, it's not aiming to please everyone, and that’s part of its charm. I opted for the matcha oat latte instead of coffee this time and was genuinely impressed — smooth, subtly sweet, and completely free of bitterness. Easily one of the best in London. Even with a queue out the door, the staff moved in perfect sync, keeping everything flowing smoothly. A ceramic cup would’ve elevated the matcha experience, but the tranquil vibe and attention to detail made it more than worthwhile. If you appreciate calm, craftsmanship, and quality in your café visits, this spot is a must.
"Aesthetic & Serene, but the Drinks Fall Short"
Omotesando Koffee is easily one of the most aesthetically pleasing cafes in the area. The minimalist wooden interior and calming background music create a serene escape, even on busy weekends. It’s a space I return to when I need a quiet, refreshing moment in the city. However, the drinks are consistently underwhelming. I've tried several options, including the matcha latte, and found them all rather bland and uninspired — more like something I could make at home with matcha powder and milk. For a place that gets so much right in terms of ambiance, it’s a shame the beverage quality doesn’t match. With an upgrade in the drink menu, this could easily be a five-star spot.
"Good Coffee with a Serene Japanese Vibe"
Omotesando Koffee delivers a solid cup in a beautifully simple setting. The interior reflects a classic Japanese aesthetic — minimal and calming, which makes for a pleasant pause amid the Oxford Circus buzz. Seating is limited, but the turnover is steady, so you likely won’t wait long. It’s not the place to linger for hours, but perfect for a quick, quality caffeine fix in a serene environment. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
"Beautiful Space, Mixed First Impressions"
I’m torn about this place. There’s no denying that the café is incredibly aesthetic — minimalist, clean, and curated in all the right ways. But a few things left me underwhelmed. The iced cappuccino didn’t quite hit the mark for me — it mostly tasted like oat milk and cocoa powder. On the other hand, the cold brew was excellent and definitely a highlight. What bothered me more was the service. Maybe I misread the vibe, but the baristas seemed a bit disengaged — like they didn’t really want to be there. It took away from the overall experience. That said, I’m willing to give it another shot because the cold brew was genuinely great. Hoping for a warmer second impression.
"Small, Minimal, and Quality Matcha"
The original Japanese outlet seemed closed, so I visited the London location instead. It's a small space but has a great minimalist vibe — calm, clean, and stylish. I tried the soy matcha latte and was pleasantly surprised. The matcha was clearly high quality, with a rich, earthy flavor, and the foam was impressively thick and creamy. A simple drink done really well. Definitely worth a visit if you appreciate well-made matcha in a sleek setting.
