"Elegant Setting and Good Service, But Food Falls Short of Expectations"
We went for lunch as a family, drawn in by the positive reviews and the restaurant’s elegant, well-maintained ambiance. While the setting is attractive, we were surprised to find it located inside a shopping center—an unusual location for what aims to be a fine dining experience. The service was excellent—professional, courteous, and attentive to detail, which made a great impression. To start, we shared the Russian salad and the cod and Iberian ham croquettes. The croquettes were delicious—creamy and full of flavor. The Russian salad, while fresh and tasty, was just average. For mains, we let the staff guide us. The rice with prawns was well-cooked and flavorful but overwhelmed by the taste of ñoras (dried red peppers), making the dish heavy and a bit unbalanced. The seafood was hardly noticeable, which was disappointing. The oxtail was decent, though not as tender as expected—it lacked that melt-in-your-mouth texture, though the accompanying sauce was good. The biggest letdown was the beef brisket. Labeled as a dish for two, it arrived boneless and in a portion size that felt too small to share. While it tasted great, the quantity left us wanting more. Desserts were a mixed bag. They were out of the one we had our eye on, and while most alternatives were nice, the thin cake was dry and forgettable. All in all, it wasn’t a bad experience, but we agreed it didn’t quite live up to the hype—and we probably wouldn’t return.
"Great Food and Atmosphere with Room for Service Improvement"
This is a very good restaurant with delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are beautifully presented and reasonably priced, offering good value for money. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, though a few seemed to lack patience, which slightly affected the overall experience. Still, it’s a solid option for a good meal in a nice setting.
"Exceptional Experience with Stunning Views"
We were invited to celebrate a baptism here, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The service was outstanding — from the waiters to the managers and cooks, everyone demonstrated remarkable professionalism and warmth. Every dish we tried was truly delightful, showcasing great attention to detail and flavor. And to top it all off, the views from the terrace were simply breathtaking — a must-see!
"Beautiful Setting, Mixed Culinary Experience"
Dining at Sky of Urrechu offers a mix of lights and shadows. We came in knowing that part of what we were paying for was the elegant setting and upscale location, more than purely for the cuisine. The ribeye was a letdown — overly fatty for our taste — while the roast sirloin was decent, though the apple compote it came with was overly sweet and didn’t complement the dish well. On the bright side, the rib was a highlight: perfectly cooked and well-seasoned — a dish worth repeating. The salad was fresh and flavorful, and the artichokes were fine, though unremarkable. We ended the meal with some complimentary desserts — not overly sweet, just enough to satisfy. Overall, an uneven experience, but with some standout moments.
"Stylish Dining Surprise Inside a Shopping Center"
Despite being located in a shopping center, this restaurant is a pleasant surprise. The decoration is tasteful and balanced, creating a clean, well-lit, and comfortable atmosphere — though the music could be a touch quieter. The service stands out: professional, attentive, and friendly without being intrusive, striking the right balance of warmth and respect. As for the food, it’s generally very good. The brioches were decent, though not remarkable, and the belly salad was a bit too cold and heavy on tomato. The salmorejo was exquisite, and the sirloin cooked to perfection. The blood sausage ingot was essentially a well-presented rice blood sausage — flavorful and well sauced. The tartare was fresh and enjoyable, although a little heavy on the soy, making it overly salty. The dessert torrija was excellent. With an extensive wine list to suit all tastes and budgets, and fair pricing considering the setting, this place is definitely worth a visit. I look forward to coming back.
"Fantastic Food with Breathtaking Views of Madrid"
This is an exceptional spot for either lunch or dinner. In terms of food quality, pricing, and overall experience, it’s on par with the Urrechu in Somosaguas. What truly sets this location apart, however, are the stunning panoramic views over Madrid. You can take in the entire city skyline, with all of its iconic buildings visible in one sweeping glance. Whether you’re dining as a couple or with family, this place offers a memorable experience that blends great cuisine with an unbeatable setting.
