"Loved It – Great Atmosphere, Delicious Food, and Friendly Staff"
We went looking to try something different and absolutely loved the experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere vibrant and inviting, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. It all came together to make for a memorable night out. We’ll definitely be back!
"Trendy but Lacking in Comfort and Culinary Impact"
This small, trendy restaurant has a stylish vibe but very limited space — barely enough for a couple’s basic belongings. While the service was kind and attentive (despite the waitstaff’s limited experience), the food was mostly basic, with some attempts at innovation that didn’t quite land. The wine list is minimal, and there’s no bar or waiting area, which makes the overall experience feel a bit incomplete.
"Great Menu and Service, with Minor Flaws in Execution"
The overall menu concept is very appealing, and the service was excellent—attentive and friendly throughout. The rib bao stood out as a true explosion of flavor, easily the highlight of the meal. However, the main dish—octopus with pepper purée—was a bit underwhelming. While the texture was good, the flavor was lacking, and it could have used a touch more seasoning to bring it to life. With a few tweaks in execution, this spot could truly shine.
"Spectacular Food and Top-Notch Service"
We had a fantastic experience! The service from Gabriel was truly excellent—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food did not disappoint either: the croquettes were creamy and flavorful, the bao buns packed a punch, and the beef steak was perfectly cooked. The house sangria was the perfect refreshing complement. Highly recommended for both the quality of the food and the outstanding service!
"Underwhelming Food for the Price, Though Service Was Nice"
Overall, the food was just okay and didn’t justify the high price. We ordered the burrata salad, which came with plain supermarket-style greens — nothing special. The octopus was simply boiled, lacking the depth you’d expect from grilling, and while the croquettes were decent, we’ve had tastier (and more affordable) ones elsewhere in Madrid. On the bright side, the service was friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. Still, based on the food and value, it’s not a place we’d return to.
"Cozy Gem with Heartwarming Service in Madrid"
Gloria Bendita is a small local gem in Madrid that truly impressed us. The cozy yet upbeat atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a flavorful, diverse meal. What really elevated the experience was the outstanding service — our waiter was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout. If you're in Madrid and looking for great food paired with heartfelt hospitality, this is the place to go!
