"A Disappointing and Unwelcoming Experience"

Unfortunately, our visit to this place turned sour despite spending over €70 on food and wine. A simple and personal request—ice in my wine—was met with unexpected hostility. Rather than politely explaining a policy or preference, the staff flat-out refused to serve us further, and one member even escalated the situation by calling the police without any justification. Thankfully, the officers quickly saw how absurd it was and left. The atmosphere felt more pretentious than refined, and while they may pride themselves on their "organic" wine list, it was nothing out of the ordinary. Hospitality should be about making guests feel welcome and respected, not enforcing elitist standards over harmless personal preferences. There are plenty of places in Madrid offering better wine, better food, and—most importantly—better treatment. Save your money and avoid this touristy disappointment.

"A Sweet Surprise in a Unique Setting"

Stopped in just for dessert and tried the chocolate & olive oil—absolutely tasty and well balanced. The ambiance is cave-like and atmospheric, making it a super cool spot for a glass of wine or a quick bite. Definitely a hidden gem worth popping into, even just for a small treat.

"Disappointing Value Despite Decent Food and Wine"

Stopped by for drinks and dinner. While the food and wine were fine, the portion sizes were surprisingly small—especially considering the entree-level prices. After two and a half months of traveling through Europe, this ended up being the most expensive dinner so far, which felt unjustified based on the experience. Honestly, a major letdown. If you’re curious, it might be best to come for a couple of drinks and skip the full meal.

"Charming Atmosphere, Great Wine — But Room for Improvement"

This spot offers a lovely, atmospheric setting and an excellent wine selection — the ambiance alone makes it a great place to unwind. However, the food feels overpriced for the portions and quality. One practical downside: there’s no mobile signal inside. In 2025, having guest Wi-Fi should be a given, especially since the staff use it themselves. Extending access to customers would really enhance the overall experience.

"Great Concept and Food, Let Down by Service"

The concept, ambiance, and food were all very enjoyable — clearly a well-thought-out space with a lot of potential. However, the service left much to be desired. It was slow and felt inattentive, almost as if the staff weren’t particularly interested in engaging or upselling. A more attentive team could really elevate the experience to match the quality of the setting and cuisine.

"Great Vibes, Tasty Bites"

As expected, the wine was excellent — no complaints there. What really stood out was the fried polenta, absolutely delicious! The ambiance of the place ties it all together, making it a cozy and stylish spot to enjoy a glass (or two) and some well-crafted small plates.
