"Beautiful Ambiance, Disappointing Food Experience"
I genuinely don’t understand how this restaurant earned a two-star rating. While the presentation and atmosphere are undeniably elegant, the food was a major letdown. As others have mentioned, the olive snack is particularly harsh—it's filled with pure olive oil and left me feeling sick for the rest of the meal. The snacks overall were overly sweet and oddly pungent, which made the experience even more confusing. Many dishes included a thick, warm gel that was simply unpleasant (as shown in the photo). To make matters worse, the wait staff couldn’t answer questions or explain the dishes, which added to the disappointment. If you’re considering dining here, I strongly recommend skipping it.
"Exceptional Cuisine, But Rushed Service Detracted from the Experience"
As a two-star Michelin restaurant, it truly delivered on its culinary promise—every dish in the tasting menu was creative, refined, and delicious, meeting our expectations in every aspect. However, the pacing of the meal left much to be desired. We opted for the tasting menu at lunch, which consisted of about ten small courses served in five rounds. Unfortunately, they were brought out in such quick succession that it felt rushed, almost as if the staff was eager to close the restaurant. A more relaxed, thoughtful pace would have greatly enhanced the overall experience.
"Memorable Experience with Great Wine Pairing, But Some Surprising Flaws"
I went in without specific expectations, other than requesting the top wine pairing. As with any tasting menu, not every dish will suit every palate, but one dish was noticeably oversalted—not the pickled or salted fish—which is a basic misstep for a chef and brought the experience down to three stars for me. The wine pairing was enjoyable overall, but there were a few issues. One pour contained a noticeable cork taint with about 10–15 bits of cork floating in the glass, requiring me to request a fresh pour. Additionally, a dirty wine glass was initially presented, and I had to ask for a clean replacement. The decor is beautiful but could use some updating and attention to detail; food splashes were visible on a display case, which detracted slightly from the ambiance. While the service was warm and professional, as expected from a Michelin-rated establishment, I was surprised by the two-star rating, which typically reflects flawless execution. Despite the flaws, I would still recommend dining here for the overall experience, especially the wine pairing.
"A Flawless Culinary Experience Worth Repeating"
Everything about this restaurant was immaculate—the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Each bite delivered a depth of flavor that truly melted into an unforgettable experience. It’s the kind of dining you’ll want to return to again and again!
"Highly Recommended for an Exceptional Dining Experience"
Absolutely recommend this place! From the flawless service to the incredible flavors in every dish, the entire experience was memorable. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine dining.
"Good Food, But Lacking the Distinction Expected at This Level"
When dining at a restaurant with the prestige and pricing of Paco’s, you naturally expect to eat well—and we did. While a few dishes didn’t quite suit our tastes, that’s understandable with an extensive tasting menu. However, just as choosing a Mercedes over a Fiat implies more than just getting from A to B, the elevated cost here should reflect a higher standard in every aspect—service, comfort, and ambiance. Unfortunately, in our experience, those elements didn’t quite meet the level seen in other restaurants of a similar category.
