"Disappointing Experience at ASMED – Overpriced and Underwhelming"
I chose the B package at ASMED, which explicitly states that incisions would be performed partially by Dr. Koray Erdogan and partially by the ASMED team. In reality, Dr. Koray was in the room for no more than 10–15 minutes, only creating the hairline incisions before leaving. For a procedure that lasted approximately 14 hours over two days, this can hardly be considered “partial involvement.” The aftercare has been equally disappointing. My coordinator, Sevinc, has shown little interest or initiative—I’ve had to constantly chase her for updates, guidance, and follow-ups. For the premium price paid, I expected a much higher level of care and professionalism. In hindsight, I would have stayed in Europe, where I likely could have received better service and outcomes for the same or even lower cost. If you're considering ASMED, I strongly suggest exploring alternative clinics that truly deliver the service they promise.
"Outstanding Experience – Highly Recommend"
Everything about my experience was extremely professional. The technology used at the clinic is unparalleled, and the level of care I received was exceptional. Dr. Cihan, along with every technician and nurse, was careful, considerate, and clearly highly skilled. Their expertise made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. I’m now at Day 10 post-procedure, and they are still actively following up with me — which shows their dedication doesn’t end once the surgery is done. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone considering a procedure. The service, technology, and professionalism are truly top-tier.
"Good Clinic, Poor Coordination Experience"
ASMED is a great clinic if you’re considering a hair transplant — no doubt about the facility or medical team. However, I’m giving 1 star due to my experience with the patient coordinator, Suzanna. Unfortunately, she was unresponsive and came across as arrogant, which made the process unnecessarily frustrating. If she is assigned to you, I strongly recommend asking for a different coordinator. That said, this experience pushed me to continue researching, and I eventually chose Dr. Emrah Cinik’s clinic, where I successfully completed my hair transplant. I’m very happy with the decision.
