"Highly Recommend Dr. Serkan’s Clinic for Hair Transplant"
I was recommended to visit Dr. Serkan’s clinic for a hair transplant, and I’m glad I did. Everything from the flight arrangements to the hotel stay was well planned and professionally managed. The clinic is clean, hygienic, and well-organized. There are plenty of staff members on duty who take great care of you throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone considering a hair transplant treatment.
"Mixed Experience – Good Procedure, Poor Follow-Up"
The initial experience with Dr. Serkan’s clinic was smooth — the arrangements from flights to hotel were well managed, and the staff was attentive and professional. The clinic itself is clean and well-maintained, and the procedure went as expected. However, I was told there would be regular follow-ups every 3 months for a full year. While the first few months went well, after the 6-month mark I stopped hearing from them entirely. My emails and WhatsApp messages have gone unanswered, which is disappointing given the importance of follow-up care in this process. Overall, the clinic provides a good service at the start, but the lack of post-op support left me feeling overlooked.
"Great Experience So Far – Looking Forward to Final Results"
I had a very positive experience with Dr. Aygin and his team. Everyone was friendly, professional, and highly competent. The clinic was spotless, and I stayed at the Elysium Hotel in Taksim, which was a wonderful and comfortable choice included in the package. Dr. Aygin personally handled the hair transplant design, carefully drawing the hairline and determining the number of grafts for each zone. The actual transplant procedure was performed by a skilled and attentive team under local anesthesia and sedation, and the post-operative instructions were explained thoroughly. I’m currently rating the experience 4 out of 5 stars, simply because I’m waiting to see the final results in the coming months. I’m hopeful that the outcome will be just as satisfying as the process so far — and I’ll be happy to return and update my review to a full 5 stars!
"Overall Positive Experience – But With a Few Caveats"
My experience with the clinic was overall very good. The process was well-organized and easy to follow, with everything from consultation to logistics handled efficiently. You get about 5 minutes with Dr. Serkan Aygın, during which he carefully outlines the transplant zones and details the plan. The supporting staff — especially Hasan, Abdullah, and Anıl — were friendly and helpful throughout the process. The surgery itself was quite painful for me, unfortunately. It seemed the anesthesia and numbing spray didn’t work effectively in my case, which made parts of the procedure uncomfortable. That said, I understand this isn’t the norm for most patients — I may have just been unlucky. I’m generally satisfied and would recommend the clinic, but I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. The reason? They ask you to leave a review and take a photo before you leave, which felt a bit pressured. I believe honest reviews should come naturally and not be rushed.

I'm very pleased I chose to have my hair transplant with Dr. Serkan and his team at Doku. Honestly, I was hesitant at first — traveling overseas alone without speaking the language felt daunting.
