"A Lovely Mother’s Day Celebration with Excellent Service"

We came to celebrate Mother’s Day and had a wonderful time. While the portions were a bit small, the quality made up for it — perfect for a special occasion. We were seated in a cozy, intimate room that made the experience feel extra personal and relaxed. A special mention goes to our waitress, Marina, who was exceptional — attentive, kind, and always ready with thoughtful recommendations. Her service truly elevated the experience. Overall, a great spot for a celebration, even if the plates left us wanting just a little more.

"Underwhelming Tapas Despite Michelin Mention"

We came with high hopes due to the Michelin Guide recommendation, but overall, the tapas fell short. The meatballs and croquettes were average at best, and while the rabbit ribs had good flavor, they offered barely any meat. The ceviche was a particular letdown — overly sour and with fish that was unpleasantly firm, which made the €25 price tag hard to justify. That said, service was fast and efficient. This spot might work better for a casual drink and light bites, but it’s not ideal if you're seeking a standout, food-centric experience.

"Scrumptious Tapas with a Lively Atmosphere"

This charming tapas bar truly impressed me — I only wish I had more time to explore the full menu! Every dish I tried, from the flavorful tuna to the rich and tender oxtail, was absolutely delicious. The only small critique would be that the rabbit ribs were slightly on the salty side, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and on point. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a fun night out. If you can’t take a date, take a mate — you’re guaranteed a great time! ✨✨✨✨

"Disappointing Value Despite Decent Service"

This spot left much to be desired. The space is extremely cramped, with high, backless bar stools that are quite uncomfortable — not ideal for a relaxed meal. Food-wise, it was just okay. The cod fritter was flavorful but overly greasy. Many dishes leaned too heavily into extremes — either too sweet or too salty — which masked the natural flavors. Nothing stood out as memorable or special. The biggest letdown? The drinks. Served in tiny shot-glass portions with no indication on the menu — definitely not worth the price. The tiramisu also disappointed this time around, lacking the usual liquor-soaked biscuit that gave it character. On the bright side, service was attentive and professional, but overall the experience didn’t justify the cost.

"Memorable Dinner with Friends at Paco Meralgo"

Had a great dinner at Paco Meralgo last night with friends! The atmosphere was lively yet cozy, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The standout for me was the chipirones — easily the best I’ve had on this visit to Barcelona. The patatas bravas and pulpo were also delicious, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I also tried the tortilla de bacalao, which was a nice surprise — light and flavorful. Highly recommended for a relaxed, tasty meal in the city!

"Good Food but Disappointed by Limited Availability"

The food was tasty, beautifully presented, and overall enjoyable. However, we were quite disappointed by the availability of certain dishes. We arrived at 1:20 p.m. and noticed that other customers were being served rice dishes. But when we tried to order it ourselves, we were told it was no longer available — and that they weren't sure if more would be prepared during our meal. Sadly, we left without getting to try it, which was a letdown considering how much we were looking forward to it.

"Stylish Spot with Good Tapas, But Slightly Overrated"

We visited this tapas bar on a weekday night and were surprised by how busy it still was—we waited about 20 minutes for a table, which wasn’t too bad. The decor is stylish and the atmosphere buzzing, which made for a great vibe overall. Food-wise, the standout dish was definitely the “Ombama” – full of flavor with a perfectly crispy crust. The octopus was also nicely done, while the scallop felt pretty average. Unfortunately, the meat dishes didn’t impress us much—the garlic steak and ribs were lacking in flavor. While we’ve had better tapas elsewhere, this place is still a good option if you're in the area and don’t mind paying a bit extra for the ambiance and experience.

"One of the Best Meals in Barcelona!"

Wow — this meal was an absolute standout. I had the beef with garlic, lightly fried artichokes, and patatas bravas, and each dish was bursting with flavor. Honestly, a 15/10 experience! Everything was cooked to perfection and incredibly satisfying. The only regret? Not saving room for dessert! The Crema Catalana looked amazing and I’ll definitely be coming back for it next time. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Barcelona — highly recommended!

"Tasty Tapas and Friendly Service"

The tapas were definitely enjoyable, and the waiter was exceptionally kind and welcoming. The pricing, marked as €€€ on Google, felt accurate for what we received. One thing to note is that we had to share a table with another family, which slightly affected the experience in terms of comfort and privacy. Overall, it was a good visit — I’d rate it an 8 out of 10!

"Disappointed by Razor Clams, But Otherwise Good Tapas"

I ordered razor clams in the evening and, unfortunately, they were not fresh. What made it worse was the defensive reaction from the waiter when I mentioned it—there was no need for that, especially since I came with genuine intentions and had been looking forward to the visit. I get that seafood can have off days, but a bit of understanding goes a long way. That said, the rest of the food was great. It’s a solid tapas spot overall, though not the best I’ve had in Barcelona. Giving 2 stars mainly due to the razor clam experience.
