"Couldn’t Fully Enjoy the Experience"
We stopped here for lunch on our guide’s recommendation after visiting Machu Picchu. Unfortunately, we were too tired to eat and missed the chance to enjoy the food. Since it’s a buffet-style restaurant, we can’t comment on the service.
"Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend"
This was such a letdown. The food was mediocre at best, with a poorly executed buffet selection and bland flavors that left much to be desired. The service was equally underwhelming and didn’t make up for the lackluster meal. Definitely a must-skip—there are far better options in the area. I’d recommend Sumaq instead for excellent service and high-quality, curated food.
"Not Allergy-Friendly and Overpriced"
Wouldn’t recommend this place if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. We asked about gluten-free options and were told there weren’t any. When we asked if only one of us could pay (since the other couldn’t eat anything), the answer was also no. I understand buffets are strict about entry, but most places make exceptions when someone genuinely can’t eat the food. At $44 per person, this policy felt unreasonable and left us very disappointed.
"Good Food but Pricey for Lunch"
The food was good, especially considering the location near one of the Seven Wonders. However, the lunch buffet felt quite expensive for what was offered.
"Fantastic Service and Delicious Variety"
Alex, our waiter, was wonderful and so much fun with the kids! There’s a wide variety of food options, and everything we tried tasted fresh and delicious.
"Perfect Spot to Recharge After Machu Picchu"
After exploring the breathtaking views of Machu Picchu and tackling countless stairs, this was the perfect place to unwind. The buffet was one of the best I’ve experienced, offering an extensive selection of delicious food at a fair price. It was great to relax, enjoy a good meal, and sip on a refreshing Pisco Sour. Note: alcoholic drinks aren’t included in the buffet, but that’s understandable.
"Overpriced and Underwhelming"
This place is totally overrated. At $40 per person, it feels like only $15 goes toward the food, and the rest is for its location as the only restaurant nearby. The most satisfying thing I had was a Coca-Cola. The roast pork was too dry, while the roast beef and trout were just okay. Don’t expect any views of Machu Picchu—your “view” will be dust clouds kicked up by passing buses.
"Creamy and Delicious Ice Cream! 🍨"
I only tried the ice cream here, and it was absolutely creamy and sweet! Tasted like first-class Peruvian goodness 😎😎😎.
"Convenient Stop with Great Buffet Options"
I bought a ticket that included both the train and entry to Machu Picchu, and I don’t regret it. The buffet bar offers a wide variety of breakfasts, lunches, desserts, and drinks—perfect for spending any extra time you have. Internet access is available after collecting a ticket at the concierge desk, but after 30 minutes, you’ll need to get another ticket.
"Perfect Spot to Relax After Machu Picchu"
A nice place to take a breath and unwind after a long tour in Machu Picchu.
