"NICE but a few changes needed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

We stayed here for 10 nights and overall had a nice time, but there are a few things worth mentioning. Firstly, many of the staff struggled with English, which led to several incorrect orders — we didn’t let it spoil our holiday, but it was noticeable. The sunbed situation was frustrating, with 2-3 people reserving up to 10 beds at a time and no action being taken to address it. The cats around the resort were everywhere — even sitting on chairs inside and outside the restaurant. A word of caution: be careful with drinks from the coffee area. My son became ill after having a caramel iced drink, and we later noticed drinks being made up in advance, left in the sun, and then served with ice. The amphitheatre shows felt repetitive — lots of dancing and acrobatics under different themed nights. On the positive side, the weather was beautiful, the food was decent, and there was plenty of space to dine. However, the rooms were very small — barely enough space for a family of 3 or 4.

"Bit hit and miss but ok overall"

This was our first time staying in Turkey, and overall, we had a wonderful family holiday. We traveled as a family of four with two young children (4 years and 10 months). For the price we paid, we really can’t complain — there were both pros and cons, but nothing significant enough to ruin the trip. On the plus side, there was a great choice of pools, the kids’ club kept our eldest entertained, and the à la carte restaurants were fantastic. The buffet offered a good variety, though by the seventh day it did feel a little repetitive. On the downside, the rooms were on the smaller side, there was no casual snack bar for lunch (everything was more formal, seated restaurant-style), and the reception/guest relations staff came across as quite rude and unhelpful when we needed assistance. We had a sick baby and struggled to get any support with extending our room for a later check-out. Staff were hit-and-miss overall. Our daughter has severe food allergies, and while some staff were incredibly helpful, others were not, which unfortunately led to several allergic reactions during our stay and us having to administer her medication almost daily. I wouldn’t pay UK half-term prices for this hotel as I think it might feel disappointing at that level. However, we made things work and still managed to enjoy our time here.

"Disappointing “5 star” theres so much better for the same price in Lara Beach!"

We booked Titanic Deluxe Lara for a big family celebration, with milestone birthdays to mark. I’d admired this hotel for years and expected something truly special. Sadly, for the premium price and supposed 5-star status, it fell far short in key areas. I don’t often write reviews, but having stayed at several 5-star resorts in Turkey and spending thousands on this trip, I feel it’s only fair to share our experience to help others make an informed choice — and to encourage the hotel to improve. 🌟 The Positives: The evening entertainment was fantastic, with something for all ages (though the White Night felt geared more towards teens/adults). Pools were varied, clean, and a real highlight for the family. Snack bars offering ice cream, waffles, and pastries were a huge hit with the kids — genuinely high quality. The Kids Club facilities were impressive, with thoughtful touches like baby food and bottle prep, great staff in the kids’ restaurant, and engaging activities. The buffet offered a wide selection for adults and generally good quality food. ❌ The Negatives (unfortunately, more significant): Customer Service: This was the biggest disappointment. A handful of staff were lovely, but most seemed disengaged and unwelcoming, with little warmth or willingness to go the extra mile. Room Issues: Despite arriving late at night with a baby, no cot was provided in our room until requested. Family rooms are very cramped for four, especially with older children, and felt tired and in need of maintenance. Cleaning was subpar — we found hair in the shower, dirt on the walls, and leftover items from previous guests that weren’t removed all week. Food Poisoning: I became very unwell after eating buffet chicken and spent two days in bed. When we informed staff and tried to cancel our à la carte booking, there was no concern shown — just pressure to keep the reservation. Shocking lack of care for guest health. Buffet Service: Chaotic and poorly managed. Tables weren’t cleared quickly, drinks often never arrived, and waiting 20+ minutes to be seated became normal. Easily the worst buffet service we’ve experienced at a resort. Kids Club Safety: While the facilities are excellent, the staff seemed overwhelmed. Our son was able to walk out of the club wearing his lanyard without being stopped — a major safeguarding concern. Also, there was no system for tracking which adults entered and exited the space. Upselling Pressure: Despite being all-inclusive, there was constant pressure to pay extra for à la carte meals, premium packages, and upgrades. It felt relentless and inappropriate, especially after paying a premium price for the holiday. Sunbed Chaos: Guests claimed sunbeds from the early morning hours, and management seemed unwilling to enforce rules. We had an unpleasant confrontation when another group moved our towels and claimed the beds. Instead of resolving it calmly, guest relations escalated tensions and even asked my elderly father (with a heart condition) to move from a shaded area he needed for health reasons. We did create family memories here, but unfortunately, we’ll remember the hotel for the wrong reasons. On the surface, Titanic Deluxe Lara looks stunning — but its service, guest care, and management urgently need improvement. Until then, it doesn’t live up to its 5-star reputation or justify its high prices.

"Excellent Hotel!"

An amazing hotel with brilliant staff, excellent service, and top-notch facilities. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we’d definitely recommend this hotel to others. For an extra touch of luxury, we suggest booking a cabana — it’s absolutely worth it!

"For children 5 star, for adults 3 star"

I feel slightly unfair giving this a 3-star review because the facilities and waterpark for children were truly fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The hotel grounds are stunning, clean, and classy, and the entertainment is by far the best we’ve experienced. However, the food and drinks simply don’t match the quality of the rest of the resort — and for our family, that’s a huge part of an all-inclusive holiday. Breakfast was just okay; the omelette station was hit or miss, and the cooked breakfast was disappointing, though pancake lovers will be happy. Dinner at the buffet offered plenty of options, but much of it was overcooked, dry, and repetitive. A smaller, higher-quality selection would have been better. We tried three of the four à la cartes; the focus seemed more on quantity than quality. The Japanese and Capri were the better choices, but I wouldn’t bother with the Italian. The beach lunch restaurants had lovely settings but limited menus. After 11 days alternating between chicken or beef kebabs and pizza, it became tiresome. Drinks were very basic — I love an all-inclusive cocktail, but couldn’t find one I enjoyed as they were all overly sweet. I stuck to gin and tonic, which was fine. Wine was served warm and quickly watered down with ice. Rooms felt very small for a family of four, with no space for suitcases, and our balcony was unusable. The mini disco, usually a highlight for my daughter, felt lackluster compared to other resorts. Also, irons aren’t provided unless it’s deemed an “emergency,” and we ended up with a hefty laundry bill for shirts. Overall, I’d consider returning for the children’s sake because the waterpark and facilities are hard to beat, but I’d come prepared for 3-star food and drinks at best.

"Not to be outdone in unkindness"

I can only advise others not to stay here. As German guests, we were treated with an astonishing level of disrespect by both the staff and some of the locals. One morning, we settled on two sun loungers by the pool that were unoccupied and had no towels on them. Shortly after, two Turkish guests approached and claimed the loungers were theirs, saying the towels had blown away in the wind. To our shock, the staff sided with them and asked us to leave the loungers, stating, “This is my country!” We were accused of disrespecting Turkish guests and were given a lecture about cultural sensitivity, even though we had done nothing wrong. They claimed there were cameras that had recorded the loungers being “reserved” — but when we asked to see the footage, they suddenly said it wasn’t possible. The entire experience was humiliating and left us feeling completely unwelcome. The hostility and lack of fairness from the staff were beyond anything we’ve ever encountered at a resort. We honestly wished we could have left immediately.

"Entertainment team"

The hotel is absolutely amazing, but what truly makes it stand out is the incredible entertainment team. They take the time to connect with guests personally, speaking to you every day and making you feel so welcome. The evening shows are brilliant and varied, keeping us entertained throughout our stay. Daytime activities are also diverse, with plenty to do for everyone. A special mention to Ekaterina — she was outstanding and made our experience even more memorable. I can’t recommend the entertainment team enough; they truly made this holiday exceptional!

"Overall great"

We’ve just returned from Titanic Deluxe (16th June) and overall had a fantastic stay. The hotel is a great place for families, and the food was better and more varied than what you typically expect from an all-inclusive resort. The main reason we chose this hotel was the waterpark — it exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our 5 and 4-year-old children. To be honest, it was just as fun for adults too! The entertainment on the first night was incredible, with talented dancers, great music, and one of the best laser shows we’ve ever seen. Unfortunately, the entertainment for the rest of the week wasn’t quite as impressive. Our room was clean, spacious enough, and came with a large TV that even had YouTube, plus a personalized welcome message, which was a lovely touch. Throughout our stay, most of the staff were helpful and polite. My only real complaint was the beds — they were quite uncomfortable. That said, Titanic Deluxe truly shines for families, offering an excellent kids’ club and fantastic amenities for children. We ventured out to the nearby shops one evening, but found them to be extremely overpriced. Most guests we spoke to were also happy with their stay, and overall, we would probably return again.

"Summary"

We traveled with two children and arrived in the middle of the night, only to find one bed in the room. After requesting assistance, someone eventually came to prepare a second bed so the children could sleep. While sorting this out, we were also trying to find something to eat — but by then, the staff seemed eager to finish for the night, and what we were served didn’t even match what we had ordered. Once back in the room, the second bed was ready, but there were no blankets. So, another trip to reception was needed. Having stayed next door at the Dolphin last year, it was impossible not to compare — and unfortunately, this experience fell far short of our expectations.

"Wonderful family holiday!"

This was our first time visiting Turkey, and we were thoroughly impressed with the high standards at this hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming, the food was of excellent quality, and the pool areas were absolutely beautiful. The evening entertainment was, without doubt, the best we’ve ever experienced on holiday. We would definitely love to visit again!
