"An Unforgettable Stay at Rixos Antalya – Pure Luxury and Exceptional Service"
I recently stayed at the Rixos Resort in Antalya, and it was exceptional in every way. The location is absolutely stunning, blending natural beauty with perfect convenience. The room was spacious, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable — it exceeded all my expectations. The food and drinks were another highlight. With a wide variety of high-quality options available throughout the day, every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. What truly made this stay unforgettable was the staff. Each team member was warm, professional, and went above and beyond to assist me, even helping with unexpected needs during my visit. Their kindness and dedication left a lasting impression. This resort is also perfect for families, offering plenty of activities and services to keep both adults and children happy and relaxed. I highly recommend Rixos Antalya to anyone seeking a luxurious and family-friendly getaway. I’ll definitely be returning!
"Outstanding Food and Beautiful Grounds – A Memorable Stay"
The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful, with a mix of stunning rooms and some areas that could use a little repair and upkeep. What really stood out to me was the exceptional quality of the food. Even if some dishes weren’t entirely to our taste, the freshness and quality were unmatched. The meats and cheeses at breakfast, fresh omelettes made to order, cream and honey — all were outstanding. There were also plenty of fresh, clean salads, whole cucumbers, and fruits. Out of the seven hotels I’ve stayed at in Turkey, this was hands down the best food experience. The snack bar was excellent, and the vitamin bar serving fresh juices (made right in front of you with whole ingredients) was a lovely touch. Although the service could’ve been a little warmer, the drinks themselves were fantastic. And the roller-skate drink service at the pool? So cool and fun — and the staff there were friendly and engaging.
"Good Service and Staff, but the Hotel Feels Dated"
The service at the hotel is great, and the staff are truly amazing — friendly and attentive throughout our stay. However, the hotel itself is starting to show its age. The rooms are just okay, but the décor feels old-fashioned, and the carpets are unattractive (see pictures). The food is average, nothing exceptional, though the all-inclusive package is a nice touch. We especially appreciated the free Starbucks coffee corner, which was a pleasant surprise. On the downside, the beach was a big disappointment. It lacked charm, and the furniture felt more like something from a 2-star hotel. On a positive note, the sports facilities and group activities were excellent, and the outdoor dining area was very enjoyable.
"Fantastic Stay So Far – Highly Impressed!"
This is only our second day here, but so far, everything has been brilliant! The staff are incredibly hardworking and helpful, always going out of their way to assist. The food is lovely with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. We really enjoyed the live band on Saturday night and the music on Sunday — a great atmosphere all around. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool, and fresh towels are provided daily, which is a nice touch. The gym is also well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Looking forward to the rest of our stay!
"Outstanding Service and Beautiful Hotel – Highly Recommended!"
This is a very lovely hotel — modern, clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff are wonderful, but special mention goes to Ceyla in guest relations, who was always so helpful, kind, and willing to go the extra mile. She truly made our stay even more enjoyable. The facilities and views are absolutely amazing, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Antalya. Mehmet, in particular, took such great care of us. He was incredibly attentive and made our time here feel so special and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
"The Worst Hotel Experience I’ve Ever Had – Avoid at All Costs"
I’ve traveled extensively — including to developing countries — and I can honestly say this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Let’s start with the rooms: they were filthy. There were stains and even boogers on the pillows and bedding. Yes, actual boogers. I requested a deep clean, which they claimed to do. The result? Still dirty and far below any acceptable hygiene standard. The restaurant wasn’t any better. The food was bland and uninspired, but the real issue was basic food safety. I personally witnessed a man preparing pizza without gloves, using his bare hands — and then wiping his nose before continuing. Disgusted, I asked to speak with a manager. After being passed between multiple people (most of whom didn’t speak English), I spoke with someone from guest relations (Irina, I believe). She assured me that food safety is taken seriously. But magically, only after I raised the issue did the pizza chef start wearing gloves. So what happens when no one is watching? The next morning brought another shock. A manager, trying to help my young son at breakfast, started making him a jam sandwich — with her bare hands. Touching the bread and spreading jam with her fingers. That was the final straw. We had booked for four nights but checked out after two. This hotel needs a complete overhaul in cleanliness, staff training, and food hygiene. Until then, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
"Disappointing Stay – This Is Not a 5-Star Experience"
Honestly, for a hotel that claims to be 5-star, the service and standards here are far from it. The customer service was terrible, both over the phone and in person. The staff came across as unprofessional, likely because so many of them are very young and inexperienced. There was only one waiter — a woman with glasses — who stood out as professional and attentive. Unfortunately, the rest of the dining room team fell far short. The dessert section was concerning too. It looked like they reused desserts throughout the day, and worse, there was no cooling system or even ice underneath them to keep them fresh. This feels like a serious food safety risk and not what you’d expect at a luxury property. The hotel’s cooling system overall was a huge letdown. Instead of proper air conditioning, they rely on a poor built-in system that doesn’t work well — another “cost-cutting” move that makes the place feel cheap and uncomfortable, especially in warmer weather. It’s clear the owners are cutting corners wherever they can, and it shows. This hotel felt more like a 3-star property at best. To make matters worse, their beach is open to the public, so anyone can wander through the area. Be extra careful with your belongings if you go down there. There were only two positives during our stay: the free bicycles guests can use and the pleasant park outside the hotel grounds. That’s the only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one. On top of it all, when we arrived, they gave us the wrong room (we booked a twin room but were assigned something else). The bellboys laughed about it instead of apologizing. Once the issue was resolved and we were moved to the correct room, the staff member lingered awkwardly for a tip — despite their earlier mistake. After staying in other hotels in the area, this felt like a massive downgrade. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a true 5-star experience.
