"Fantastic First Visit to Turkey – Amazing Hotel and Service"
This was my first time visiting Turkey, and I’m so glad we chose this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service has been incredible. The hotel itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained by the team. We booked a large sea view room, but with so much to do, we’ve hardly spent any time in it. We spent most of our days by the adults-only pool and never had to queue at the bar—thanks to the attentive skate team and pool staff who kept our drinks topped up. The food has been great too; we enjoyed lunch from the street food stalls and used the buffet most evenings. Despite reading reviews about difficulty booking the à la carte restaurants, we had no issues making two reservations through guest services. Evening entertainment has been fantastic, with brilliant shows and lively after-show activities. The only minor improvement would be the “nightclub,” which is held at the beach bar. Turning down almost all the lights makes it feel closed rather than inviting. Overall, a wonderful stay, and I’d highly recommend this hotel!
"Another Fantastic Stay – Can’t Wait to Return!"
We’ve now visited Delphin Be Grand twice—once in September and again in June—and both times have been absolutely fantastic. The hotel is stunning, beautifully maintained, and the staff are incredibly attentive and professional. There’s so much to mention, but the overall vibe is that you can do whatever you want, whenever you want. Whether you’re into countless activities or prefer to simply relax in the sun with constant waiter service, this resort has you covered. The daily themed parties and events are excellent, offering something for both adults and children. It’s truly great for families and couples alike. The adults-only relax pool deserves a special mention—it’s beautiful, with skater waiters offering drinks all day and lifeguards strictly enforcing the no-children rule. It really feels like a slice of heaven in an already fantastic resort. We’ve also visited the Delphin Imperial, but in our opinion, the Be Grand offers an even better experience—even though the Imperial is supposed to be the flagship. Thank you, Delphin Be Grand, for another wonderful stay. We’re already looking forward to visit number three!
"Disappointing Experience – Wouldn’t Recommend"
I stayed here with my family from 29 May to 5 June. The stay started off well with an easy check-in, clean facilities, and plenty of information provided. However, the issues started the next morning when I tried to book an à la carte restaurant. I arrived at 8 AM as stated in the booklet, only to see on the machine that bookings actually opened at 9 AM. By the time I returned, there was a long queue, and when I finally got to the front, everything was fully booked. It was clear that people were booking for multiple rooms at once. I then queued for another 45 minutes at guest relations and had to argue my case before they managed to get me a booking for the Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, the food there was sub-par. The next morning, I tried again and managed to book the Turkish restaurant, which was much better. However, I gave up after that, as spending nearly two hours every morning queuing meant less time with my children. Other problems during the stay included: Limited buffet selection. Wi-Fi frequently cutting out for hours. The TV in our room not working. Numerous stray cats around dining areas, which felt unhygienic. A power cut in our block left me stuck downstairs with a toddler in a pram. Despite calling for help multiple times, the response was unhelpful. Other guests were far more supportive than the staff. I even emailed to complain while staying at the hotel but never received a reply. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. The service at the Titanic next door was miles better in comparison.
"Lovely Clean Hotel with Great Staff and Food"
The hotel is spotlessly clean with plenty of snack options throughout the day. The staff are all lovely and very attentive. The kids’ club area indoors is a bit plain and could use more décor, but the staff do a great job keeping the children entertained. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, while lunch and dinner felt a bit repetitive at times. The snack bar on the way to the beach is a great alternative if you want to skip lunch in the main restaurant. Drinks are fantastic with plenty of options, and the beach itself is very clean and well maintained.
"Disappointing Experience with Poor Customer Service"
Unfortunately, I can only give this hotel an overall 3-star rating. I specifically chose this hotel because I’m not keen on buffet restaurants and was drawn to the number of à la carte options. We managed to book all the free ones, which were lovely, and decided to treat ourselves to the paid Teppanyaki restaurant at €40 per person. Sadly, the Teppanyaki experience was extremely disappointing. We had reserved for 18:30 and were told it was in the same area as the other restaurants. When we arrived, we were told it wasn’t there but at the beach. We hurried to the beach, only to be told it was actually in the main hotel block. After going back and forth, we finally sat down at 19:15—45 minutes late and very frustrated. No menus were provided, and no information was given about the meal. We were served a salad and then offered “chicken soup,” which turned out to be a brown, watery miso soup—not to our taste. Next, we received rice and vegetables, which we ate while waiting for other courses. Suddenly, we were given two large plates each—one of beef and one of chicken. The portions were huge and would have been enough for both of us combined. As we worked our way through them, two more plates arrived—this time prawns and salmon. By then, we were already full. It was such a shame because the prawns and salmon would have been the courses we enjoyed most if only we’d known they were coming. The lack of a menu or explanation meant we ate too much too soon and couldn’t enjoy the rest of the meal. I raised my concerns that evening with the restaurant staff and guest relations. I was given three small bags as “compensation,” which I didn’t need or want. The next morning, I spoke to guest relations again, and they arranged for the Head Chef to meet me, but he didn’t speak English, which made communication difficult. They promised to provide menus in future, but that didn’t help our experience. I requested a refund but was told I’d need to meet with a manager. After several attempts over three days to speak to someone, I finally met with a manager who refused to take any responsibility for what happened. He claimed I should have complained on the night, even though I clearly had. His only offer was a late check-out, which felt like an insult considering we’d paid €80 for a meal we couldn’t enjoy. This was extremely poor customer service and left a sour taste after what was meant to be a special experience.
"Disappointing Experience and Poor Value for Money"
Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. It was impossible to have three rooms allocated in the same block, and half of the lifts were out of service, which required a lot of patience. The concierge AI misled us and ended up charging an extra €40. There were also issues with the wristbands, which could cost an additional €100 if not resolved. Complaints management was ineffective, and there was no access to competent staff to address our concerns. Overall, I regret choosing this hotel as the value for money simply isn’t there.
