"Would not class this hotel as 5 star more like 2 stsr hotel"
The room was dirty and dark, with filthy bathrooms and tired, outdated furniture. The shutters and windows were grimy and clearly needed a thorough cleaning. The entire property is in dire need of a complete refurbishment and repainting. The bathroom, in particular, was unhygienic, with dirty and moldy areas that should be replaced urgently before any guest risks an infection. This level of maintenance is completely unacceptable.
"Good"
This is a very good hotel that provides a comfortable and homely environment. The staff are genuinely happy and welcoming, making you feel truly at home. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!
"Mixed Experience – Room and Buffet Disappointing, but Great Staff Elsewhere"
We initially booked a Business Suite for 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 14 and 9), but it felt much smaller than the advertised 800 sq ft — closer to a standard room. This was disappointing given the price, and we eventually upgraded to a Luxury Suite at an additional cost, which was far more spacious and comfortable for a family stay. The buffet restaurant experience was underwhelming. Staff appeared disengaged and more focused on chatting among themselves than attending to guests. Seating was often done without checking for proper cutlery, and we frequently had to look for someone just to get the basics. For a buffet setup, the service felt inconsistent and inattentive. On a positive note, the restaurant on the first floor was excellent — very attentive staff, quick service, and an overall pleasant dining experience. I wish I remembered the server’s name, as he was fantastic. A special thank you also goes out to the housekeeping team and travel desk, who were courteous, responsive, and truly enhanced our stay. In short, the hotel has potential, but better consistency with room descriptions and buffet service is needed to elevate the overall experience.
"Perfect location great facility but poor staff service."
The hotel offers excellent facilities and is in a perfect location, but the service was a major letdown. To get anything done, we had to call multiple times, only to receive false promises like “just sending.” At one point, we even had to walk to the front desk and speak directly to the person who checked us in, yet we were met with the same empty assurances. Overall, really disappointed with the service, which didn’t match the otherwise good infrastructure and location of the hotel.
"Luxury"
The service is good, and the hotel itself is nice. The location is convenient, and the buffet is also good. All the workers are very kind and welcoming, which makes the stay enjoyable. One suggestion would be to keep the pool open for longer hours, as it would make the experience even better.
"Average"
The rooms were fine, but the breakfast was a huge letdown. Even the hot items were served cold. While the options were limited — which is understandable — at the very least, the dishes should have been served hot. Eating cold chole and sambhar was really disappointing. I’m not finicky about food, but this experience has ensured that this was my first and last stay at The Lalit.

We came here for a business meeting and stayed for one night. The stay was very comfortable, and the food was good as well. Overall, a nice experience.
"Amazing service from Khyat Singh"
I was disappointed with the service at The Lalit, as Anurag, Abishek, and Ajay were extremely unprofessional. The only reason I enjoyed my stay was because of Dimpal and Khyat Singh. Both were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. They truly deserve to be in management positions.
"A disappointing experience – overall service levels were terrible"
Right from the entry, the service levels were unsatisfactory. There was no one to assist with luggage — I had to remove it from the car myself, place it on the scanning machine, pick it up, and walk to reception. To make matters worse, the luggage wasn’t even screened properly, which felt like a major security lapse. Housekeeping was also rude and unhelpful. I requested two sachets of instant coffee and was reluctantly told they had already been kept in the room — which was not the case. The only positive experience was at the restaurant during breakfast; the service there was far better. However, overall service levels were poor, making this my first and possibly last stay at The Lalit, New Delhi.
"Comfortable Stay but Breakfast Needs Improvement"
Had a great stay overall—room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Parking was easy and convenient, which made things smoother. The only downside was the breakfast menu, as it lacked variety and flavor. Definitely needs improvement in that area.
"Cleaning and Housekeeping review"
Housekeeping and cleaning staff are really courteous, and the rooms were neat and clean as expected 👍. Vicky and Poornima from the cleaning team were very dedicated to their duties. We needed an extra bed for the kids, which was arranged very smoothly in the room.
"Fantastic Stay"
Had a fantastic stay at The Lalit, New Delhi! The rooms were spotless, the ambience was classy, and the service was truly top-notch. A special thanks to Faizan for his warm and professional attitude—he really made us feel at home. Looking forward to coming back soon!
