"Worst hotel experience of MY LIFE"

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Delayed check-in despite confirming our arrival the previous day was just the start of a nightmare stay. There was no running hot water, and when we asked about it, the front desk dismissively offered to bring buckets instead, even arguing that "no one asks for hot water in summer." We had booked a "premium" room with complimentary buffet breakfast, but there was none. We were asked to choose between pasta and aloo paratha. The half-cooked parathas were served with just curd, and when we requested pickle, the staff cut open a sachet and squeezed it onto our plate! The next day’s breakfast included poori and poha, served in broken plastic bowls. The hotel is not wheelchair-friendly and is extremely inconvenient for elderly or differently-abled guests due to the layout of the lifts and reception area. Hospitality was atrocious. When we requested two separate beds, we were rudely asked why we needed them as we were both women – absolutely disrespectful and invasive. The room had broken amenities everywhere: plug points, TV (no reception), toilet paper holders, shower door, bathroom exhaust fan – nothing worked properly. This place has the audacity to call itself a "premium" hotel when it is anything but. PATHETIC!!! Avoid at all costs.

"Boutique Hotel at its best"

I stayed in Delhi for a couple of days and wanted to be in a nice neighbourhood rather than a busy commercial area. New Haven Hotel turned out to be the perfect choice. It’s a boutique hotel with extremely friendly staff who provided attentive service, making my stay very comfortable. The rooms are quite spacious for the price I paid, and the breakfast was good as well. It’s rare to find such a place that offers real value for money in a four-star hotel. Highly recommended!

"Comfortable Rooms"

This is a hotel in the GK II area with a good location and comfortable rooms. I’ve used this hotel many times in the past and generally had good experiences. However, this time I was traveling with a group of 12 people and had booked rooms with breakfast included. We were checking out at 6 a.m. for our onward journey to Amritsar and requested the reception staff the previous night for some packed breakfast, but they refused. In the morning, I asked if they could at least give us some toast and tea, which was also refused. After several requests, Mr. Santosh finally agreed to provide us tea, but only on a payment basis. I was really surprised and disappointed with their behavior this time.

"Horrible staff and service . They’re frauds!"

A friend of mine was booked at this disgusting, shady hotel which misleads guests by not clearly listing out the facilities provided. My guest from the Netherlands was shocked by their horrible service and rude behavior. They even stopped me from walking my guest to their room, citing strict visitor policies, which was extremely humiliating. The way they spoke to women guests was appalling. The room provided was shabby, lacked basic toiletries, and there was no running hot water except from 6–10 a.m. The staff was completely unprofessional, with no manners or intention to address guest concerns. Once you’ve paid, you’re essentially trapped. My guest was so uncomfortable that they checked out late at night and booked another hotel, and the money hasn’t been refunded yet. Please be very cautious while booking this hotel – it feels less like a hotel and more like a prison.

"A good stay at GK II"

New Haven is a nice small hotel located in the GK II area with a great location and easy access from Ring Road. Greater Kailash II market and several good restaurants are within walking distance, making it very convenient. The staff is excellent and always ready to assist. The rooms are spacious and larger than most hotels in this price range in the area. The only area for improvement would be the breakfast – adding some cut fruits and a few more options would make the choices better. Overall, a comfortable and well-located stay.

"OK type Budget Property."

I had booked another property, but since it was sold out, I was adjusted into this hotel. The room size was quite small, though the bathroom was nice and acceptable. The toiletries provided were not satisfactory. One major drawback is that they do not have a restaurant, and the complimentary breakfast offered had very limited options. Overall, a basic stay without many amenities.

"3 night stay"

Me and my family stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. The property is located in one of the best and safest areas in Delhi, close to restaurants, shops, and popular tourist attractions. The breakfast was simple but sufficient, and the staff was helpful throughout our stay. One downside, however, is that they do not provide shelter or shower facilities for taxi drivers, which could be improved.

"A clean decent hotel"

I chose this hotel because it was close to where I had to meet some friends after work. The rooms were very clean and equipped with all the basic amenities, making it a good no-frills option for a business trip. The breakfast was a bit of a letdown, but the highlight of my stay was the exceptional support from the reservation desk. They helped me change my booking dates smoothly and even called me to suggest booking through a specific OTA to get the best deal.

"Great Staff and Location."

The hotel is located in one of the best areas in Delhi, making it convenient for travelers. The staff is cordial and always willing to fulfill guest needs, with full points going to the reception team for their excellent service. However, the food was a bit of a disappointment, especially considering Delhi is known for its great cuisine.

"Lost its charm"

I had stayed at this property a couple of years ago and was pleasantly surprised by the service and overall quality back then. Based on that positive experience, I chose to stay again, but unfortunately, the quality has gone down drastically. The in-room amenities were of poor quality, towels were dirty, and the housekeeping and cleanliness left much to be desired, making the stay uncomfortable. The management should urgently address these issues. The only positive was the very good Wi-Fi.

"Nice property – Bad management"

Though the property itself was very nice, clean, and in a great location, the managers and owners were extremely rude and uncooperative. I had two back-to-back bookings (one for 3 days and another for 1 day) through Cleartrip’s OYO Rooms listing, but the hotel refused to honor the second booking. Their issue with OYO should have been resolved directly with them, not by inconveniencing guests already staying at the property. When I requested a late checkout to arrange another hotel, they were equally uncooperative. Anyone booking at this property should confirm all details in advance to avoid such unpleasant surprises.

"Decent Room"

The property is new and the service is courteous and prompt, but there are some major issues that need attention. I ordered room service (which wasn’t particularly tasty), and the tray with rubbish and leftover food was left outside my room for over 24 hours, accumulating more garbage—completely unacceptable. Breakfast was another disappointment; one morning there was no buffet, and I was served bad scrambled eggs with watery coffee. For a hotel projecting itself as a business hotel, breakfast needs to be healthy, diverse, and reliable. The internet system is also unnecessarily complicated, requiring a random code that makes it difficult to connect multiple devices. The hotel has great potential but really needs to fix these small yet significant issues to deliver a better experience.
