Hotel Britania Miraflores

"Clean and Safe Stay in Miraflores"
The hotel is clean, safe, and quiet, making it a solid choice in the Miraflores area. The bed was a bit firm, and some staff members were not very welcoming, but overall it provided a good stay.
"Poor Comfort and Noisy Stay"
One of the worst nights’ sleep I’ve had in a hotel. The bed was extremely hard, with only two thin sheets and no comforter. Windows had no soundproofing, making street noise constant. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, requiring towels to soak up the water. Overall, the hotel feels like it cuts corners at the expense of guest comfort. Spend a bit more and stay at the Holiday Inn across the street.
"Comfortable Stay in Quiet Miraflores Location"
This three-star hotel is in a peaceful part of Miraflores, within walking distance to Kennedy Park, Jose Padro restaurants, currency exchange, travel agencies, supermarkets, and bus stops. Airport shuttles are available for 15–20 soles hourly. The area is lovely with great weather, and the hotel serves tasty, plentiful breakfasts. Rooms are large, air-conditioned, and have consistent hot and cold water, plus a fridge. Coffee, tea, and water are available for an extra fee. The hotel hosts many social events, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
"Poor Sleep Quality and Outdated Facilities"
This hotel feels dated and in need of renovation. The breakfast is cold and underwhelming, and the air conditioner is noisy. Located on a busy corner, it’s nearly impossible to sleep due to car alarms, traffic noise, and poorly sealed windows. Only one slow elevator serves the building. Bathrooms have an unpleasant smell, towels are worn, and the internet connection is spotty. The one positive is the staff, who are polite and courteous.
"Good Value Stay with One Drawback"
This hotel offers clean, comfortable rooms at a good price and is within walking distance to the coast, though not in the best part of Miraflores. Overall a decent stay, but the coffee served was disappointing and didn’t taste like coffee at all.
"Excellent Value and Outstanding Breakfast"
This hotel offers great value with nice rooms and a convenient location within walking distance of all Miraflores attractions. The breakfast stands out as one of the best I’ve had during my travels in Peru.
"Just the location is good"
The hotel’s best feature is its central location near top restaurants and JFK Park. Unfortunately, the rooms feel cramped, the beds are small, and the elevator is uncomfortably cold. Breakfast is poorly stocked, and while Wi-Fi works in the lobby, it’s extremely slow in the rooms.
"Suspect Theft"
We stayed for 2 nights in early March. On our departure day, my husband left his carry-on bag with $80 in US currency in our locked room while we went to breakfast. About 45 minutes later, we checked out and flew to Arequipa, only to discover the money was gone. The only time the bag was unattended was during breakfast. I emailed the hotel using the address on their website, but received no reply. While the hotel is basic and in a convenient location, the lack of communication and concern from management is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this hotel—if you do stay, be extremely cautious with your belongings.
"Meh"
This hotel is fine for a short stay—it meets expectations but doesn’t go beyond that. The location is good, within walking distance to the waterfront, and we generally felt safe in the area. Our room had a view of industrial roofs and alleys, and while it was basic, it covered the necessities, though it felt a bit cheap overall. We left early one morning, and the staff provided a sack breakfast, which was a nice gesture even if the food itself wasn’t great. A functional choice, but nothing memorable.
"Good location"
This is a solid basic 3-star hotel in Miraflores. The bedrooms are comfortable, though they could use more cupboard or shelf space. The beds are very comfortable, and breakfast is more than adequate. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the seafront. The main downside was the lack of soundproofing. Even on the fifth floor and away from the lift, we could still hear it, as well as guests in neighboring rooms. Otherwise, a decent and comfortable option for the area.
"Good hotel room – but very nosiy hotel"
This hotel was the starting point for a group tour I was booked on. I booked an extra couple of nights so I could explore Lima. Hotel room was clean and spacious and the hotel is in a good location in Miraflores in Lima. A short walk up the street and you can visit a stepped pyramid 'Huaca Pucllana' and a the main city is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The lift is tiny and VERY slow so most people opt for the stairs which has very loud closing doors - so you are constantly hearing them being opened and closed at ALL times of the day and night. Air conditioner is old and noisy too! My room was close to the stairwell so I didn't sleep much - can hear conversations in the hallway and in other rooms too! Breakfast has a variety of choice but not great quality. I ate in the restaurant on my first night and the food was served luke warm (I think it is prepared, frozen and then warmed up on order). Personally I would not recommend to book here unless you have no other choice. I have let the tour company know that this is not the best hotel choice.
"Perfect Stay in the Heart of Miraflores"
Hotel Britania is ideally located in the center of Miraflores, close to excellent dining, shopping, attractions like Larco Mar, and an archaeological site. The nightlife is lively yet safe, with a casino just minutes away. The staff are available 24/7 and very attentive. Rooms are comfortable with air conditioning and cozy beds. Don’t miss the delicious daily breakfast included with your stay. A big thank you to the entire team for making our Christmas stay so memorable!
