Casa Andina Standard Machu Picchu

"This hotel is at best a low quality experience"
This hotel was a disappointment from start to finish. My room had no air conditioning, and opening the window for air meant letting in bugs and loud street noise due to the lack of screens and insulation. Passing trains and outside activity were constant disturbances, and the paper-thin walls made every neighbor’s conversation and TV show audible. The room lacked basic comforts like a chair, forcing me to sit in the lobby to read. Drinking water was overpriced at $3 per bottle (worth about 50 cents at a store), with the only free option being filtered water by the glass in the lobby—five floors away. Lighting was dim, and the bed was a narrow single, like a dorm bed from decades ago. Overall, a low-quality stay and not worth booking.
"Visit Machupichu and enjoy your trip by staying EN CASA ANDINA"
Casa Andina is totally recommendable! The rooms are nice and cozy, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The WiFi works great, and the breakfast is varied and delicious. A great choice for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
"Our stay"
Yerdi and Kevin provided excellent assistance, answering all our questions. The room was clean though a bit warm. Breakfast was good and satisfying.
"Good. Spacious and comfortable room. Colchão bom. Hot bath. Reasonable breakfast. I found dirty, bad cleaning….."
Good, spacious, and comfortable room with a nice mattress and a hot bath. Breakfast was reasonable, and the staff were attentive and careful. However, I found the cleanliness to be somewhat lacking and could be improved.
"ENA option to spend the night in Machupicchu"
Nice hotel near the bus station, just 2 minutes away. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and have comfortable beds with good lighting. The breakfast buffet offers an adequate and pleasant selection. Service was excellent, especially thanks to Shery.
"Poor night’s rest"
There was a persistent running noise during the night coming from some external or rooftop equipment, which only the sound of the river partially masked. The breakfast was very good, and the staff provided excellent service. However, due to the noise affecting rest, I would hesitate to return.
"Great Experience with Awesome Service"
Had a really cool experience and would definitely repeat it! I was helped by a guy named Yerdi who was super kind and full of good vibes. Totally made the stay even better! 😎🔥💨
"Massage was a benefit"
The hotel room was simple, clean, and spacious, though a bit limited in amenities. One highlight was definitely the massage service—you could either visit the masseuse or have them come to your room. We chose the in-room massage at 6 pm on our king-size bed, and the two ladies were absolutely fabulous. It was a perfect way to end a day of touring. The hotel also offers dinner, but since we were tired, we asked if we could have lunch instead the next day, and they gladly accommodated us.
"Just om"
The hotel’s location is excellent—right by the train and alongside the river. However, the room was very small and lacked air conditioning. At check-in, they brought us sweets and champagne, which seemed like a nice complimentary gesture. Unfortunately, at check-out, staff chased us to the train station demanding payment for them. We refused, as we never asked for or agreed to the service. This left a bad impression, making the whole stay feel like a money grab. If you want a hassle-free experience, stay in Cusco instead.
"Andean House, without you Machu Picchu would be NO same"
Excellent service and comfortable rooms, with a delicious breakfast served. The hotel operates 24 hours and offers great advice to guests. I recommend it 100% for a fantastic stay!
"Equipment is missing"
The receptionist Yerdi was very friendly, attentive, and handed over the key quickly, which I appreciated. However, the desk table in the room doesn’t have a lamp, and I always need good lighting for work. A lamp would definitely improve the workspace.
"A hotel without luxuries but with what is necessary."
This hotel is straightforward and modest, offering clean rooms with all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast served is tasty, complemented by friendly staff who make you feel welcome. One of the highlights is the lovely view of the river and surrounding mountains. Located in a small town, the hotel is within easy walking distance of key spots, making it a practical and convenient choice for visitors planning to explore Machu Picchu.
