"Excellent villas"
We have spent 15 days at Fuerte Village, and the experience has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment you enter the accommodation, it feels brand new. Everything is impeccably clean and meticulously maintained. The villas themselves are spectacular — spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated, perfectly equipped, and offering excellent privacy. The layout is thoughtfully designed for the comfort of guests. Although there is no air conditioning, it is not missed. The villa’s architecture keeps the interior pleasantly cool and very comfortable. The location in Costa Calma is quiet, yet close to some truly paradise-like beaches. A standout feature of Fuerte Village is its team. From arrival, the staff were attentive to every need, ensuring everything was perfect and making us feel truly at home. Special thanks to Lys, Chari, Mikaela, and the entire team for their kindness and dedication. Cleanliness is exceptional — a solid 10/10! We cannot wait to return.
"Disappointing"
Two years ago we enjoyed a fantastic fortnight at FuerteVillage, so we booked again through Secret Escapes, choosing exactly the same villa as before to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday, my birthday, and Valentine’s Day. While the villa itself was as we remembered, we were disappointed to find that the main bedroom — with its wonderful sea-view bay window and king-size bed — was locked. When my husband asked reception, they informed us that if we wanted two rooms, we would have to pay an extra €50 per night. This was puzzling, as we had booked the same villa previously, which included two rooms. The alternative room provided downstairs had two single beds, no view, and was clearly inferior. We asked if we could swap to the main bedroom, but this was refused. Reception did agree to change the two singles into a king-size bed during the next twice-weekly cleaning session. The staff explained that they were “cutting costs” and reducing cleaning, which felt dismissive given we were paying guests. Additional issues included a non-working safety deposit box in the bedroom and a sink that gurgled all night. It is hard to understand why they couldn’t simply allow us access to the main bedroom while locking the other. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay thanks to the villa itself, but the staff’s attitude was mean-spirited and unhelpful. Sadly, this experience has cost them two returning customers.
"Pure relaxation in a wonderful environment"
The suites at FuerteVillage are exceptionally well-maintained, and the service orientation of all staff — from reception and housekeeping to craftsmen and management — ensures a truly relaxing stay. The suites are beautifully furnished, featuring spacious rooms and a large roof terrace with direct sea views. Regular cleaning and fresh towels are provided as a matter of course. We are also grateful for the many helpful tips about life in Costa Calma and around Fuerteventura. Since I worked from here, I particularly want to highlight the fast and stable internet — it made remote work a pleasure! We are already looking forward to our next visit.
