"Inattentive waiter"
We visited the restaurant on May 17, 2025, for a family lunch, and unfortunately, the experience turned out to be rather disappointing—not because of the food, but due to the behavior of one of the waiters. He was bearded and wore glasses, and his manners were far from professional. While the food itself was acceptable, the grilled fish platter was meager, consisting of just four potatoes and three small fish, with a presentation that left much to be desired. What truly ruined the atmosphere was the service. At one point, the waiter tried to take my plate without asking, and when I pointed it out, he didn’t even bother to apologize. His overwhelming and dismissive attitude made the whole experience uncomfortable.
"I wouldn’t come back!"
This restaurant didn’t live up to the hype it received on TikTok. The service was disappointing, from the waiters to the person assigning tables upon entry. The food fell far short of expectations, leaving the views as the only truly redeeming aspect of the experience.
"Great lunch in El Cotillo"
This beautiful restaurant by the sea in El Cotillo (Fuerteventura) specializes mainly in fish, and I must say it was excellent. I went for lunch with my boyfriend, and we enjoyed the fresh fish of the day, which was delicious and reasonably priced. To make the experience even better, there’s a charming little beach nearby—perfect for relaxing after your meal.
"It will not disappoint!!!!"
To ensure you get a table and enjoy a better dining experience, it’s best to book at least a day in advance, as the restaurant tends to be full. The waiters are very attentive, offering helpful recommendations on both wine and tapas. The value for money is excellent, making it well worth a visit. If you’re in Cotillo, don’t hesitate to stop by—you won’t be disappointed!
"Overall loose"
The service here is not particularly attentive, and the food was fairly ordinary. The grilled prawns lacked flavor, and the fish was nothing special. Overall, the experience felt loose and unimpressive.
"Nice place with views and very good food"
The food here is very good, and the views are absolutely delightful. There was already a queue when the restaurant opened, so it’s best to arrive early. Both the fish and meat dishes were above average, making the wait well worth it.
"Good food but rude staff"
This restaurant in the center of El Cotillo has a lovely terrace overlooking the sea, creating a beautiful setting for a meal. The dishes we ordered—octopus and two slices of tuna—were good, although one of the tuna portions was thin and slightly overcooked. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the lack of professionalism and rudeness from the staff. In particular, a young waiter with curly hair and an earring openly mocked and teased customers when they asked about wines and dish recommendations. This attitude significantly penalizes what could otherwise be a wonderful dining experience.
"A good restaurant but a very mel table placed."
This is a good fish restaurant with a fair price-to-quality ratio. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by being seated at a table squeezed between a broom cupboard and a noisy fireplace. This was especially frustrating since we had selected a different table when making our reservation.
"Meh"
For the first time, I didn’t leave this restaurant saying “wow.” Perhaps it was just a matter of what we ordered, as in the past we’ve always had brilliant meals and experiences here. Unfortunately, this time the dishes simply didn’t hit the mark. That said, I’m not giving up on the place—I’ll return on my next visit and share an updated review.
"Must do in El Cotillo."
The restaurant offers wonderfully fresh fish paired with bright, refreshing flavor combinations. What makes the experience even more special is the fantastic view over the bay of El Cotillo and the open sea—a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal.
"Blue cow? I don’t think so."
The Saharan squid listed on the menu at €20 per serving would have been worth a solid 10—if they had actually been Saharan squid. Unfortunately, they were not. On the positive side, the portions were generous, the location was perfect, and the terrace offered a truly unique atmosphere. Service was good overall, but the menu was very limited, and the quality of the dishes matched that minimal variety.
"Very good,"
Our last visit here was seven years ago, and the place has retained its appeal. The food is still excellent, and the location is truly special—especially if you’re lucky enough to get a table on the terrace. The interior is also very pleasant, making it an enjoyable dining experience overall.
