"A STOP AT THE PORT"
We stopped for a quick snack at 2:00 pm before returning to Italy. The highlight was the location, offering views over the port. We had two mixed fried platters with chips, which were fairly ordinary, and the espresso was unfortunately the worst I’ve ever had. The bill was correct, but overall the experience was nothing special.
"Disappointing"
The meal was a mixed bag. The mussels were past their prime, the sardines were large and uncleaned, and the tuna with onion was nothing special. The standout was the barracuda steak—truly exceptional. Portions were generous, and service was fast, but overall the quality-to-price ratio leaves much to be desired.
"Nice place"
A lovely restaurant right at the harbour, offering delicious fresh fish dishes paired with a stunning view. The service was attentive, and the staff were very friendly, making for a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.
"Great experience!"
This place is simply awesome. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the ambience, and the beautiful setting. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
"Unkind service"
I asked why bread wasn’t served with the sauces, as is common in most restaurants, and the staff responded unsympathetically, saying it had to be ordered separately. The rest of the food was fairly standard, nothing particularly exciting. Given this experience, I don’t plan to return.
"Disappointment"
I went to dinner yesterday and ordered the fried fish. The portion included about six squid rings, four fried chipirones, five sardines, and twelve anchovies. Some pieces of fish, including tacos, smelled off. I had an undressed salad and had to request the dressing, which came in a plate with three small cups of mojo and mayonnaise. While the presentation and service were very good, the fish itself was disappointing—bland and poorly fried. I mentioned it to a waiter, but the problem persisted. Two years ago, our experience was much better; this time, it was truly disappointing.
"Perfect location good service"
During our mini vacation from Las Palmas to Fuerteventura, we stumbled upon this excellent spot near the marina. The beer was served in cold glasses, the service was fast and friendly, the food was tasty, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect.
"Pretty normal"
The restaurant has a perfect location in the port, and the service was quick and friendly. However, the fish preparation left much to be desired. We ordered several starters and a cherne, but the fish was very dry—unforgivable in the port of Corralejo. We even had to add sauce just to eat it. Such a shame, as everything else was promising.
"A nice stopover"
A very nice restaurant with exceptionally decent service. The fish was well prepared, accompanied by good wine, and the atmosphere was inviting. It’s a perfect little plan at the end of the world.
"Mal"
We went to eat here and, overall, the food was fine—most dishes were good, some just average. However, there was a serious issue with the billing: the receipt stated that IGIC (tax) was not included, which is illegal. This significantly overshadowed an otherwise normal dining experience.
"Nice food, reasonable prices"
At first glance, the place looks quite basic with plastic chairs and tables, but the food exceeded our expectations. The baby squid and eel were cooked perfectly, and the staff were both pleasant and efficient. Prices were reasonable, and the view overlooking the harbor and sailing boats made the experience even more enjoyable.
"Thoroughly enjoyable."
On our last day in Corralejo, we decided to have a late lunch at La Lonja, where we had dined several years ago. We were not disappointed. The menu was good, prices fair, and the service attentive. The grilled fish for two was excellent and great value at €33. Sitting there, enjoying the views of the port and marina, and watching the world go by made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
