"Clive Williams"

This could have been a 4- or 5-star experience, but the attitude of one waiter affected our overall impression. The meal was delicious, but the octopus with garlic mushrooms contained prawns, which was not listed on the menu, and my wife, who is allergic, felt blamed for ordering it. A replacement dish, correctly prepared, was provided within 10 minutes. Personally, I enjoyed my meal, but my lunch guests felt the service could use improvement.

"Arietta Beach Favorite – Superb Food and Great Value"

This is our go-to spot for a beach day in Arietta, and we’ve been coming for years. The food is superb and excellent value. It’s always very busy, so be patient – the locals eat here for a reason! I highly recommend the mixed fish platter 😋.

"Good Food but Cleanliness and Service Need Improvement"

We chose this restaurant based on reviews and because it was one of the few open when we arrived. The waiter recommended the fish of the day (barracuda), which was very good. However, the cutlery was dirty, some plates were only partially clean, and the terrace itself wasn’t as tidy as it should be. Service was far from excellent, and the overall atmosphere felt a bit off.

"Perfect Spot for a Cold Beer"

We stopped by for a cold beer on a warm noon, and it was perfect! The view of the beach is amazing, and the beer came in ice-cold glasses—just what you need for sun and holiday vibes.

"Disappointing Experience at Casalaplaya"

The only dish we found enjoyable was the “Spanish cheese with potatoes”—everything else fell short. The seafood paella, though presented nicely, was overwhelmingly salty and far from perfect in taste. Service was chaotic: waiters struggled to remember simple orders, often delivered food without cutlery, and even after repeated requests it took 20 minutes to get a full set of utensils. Beer orders were equally frustrating—three orders with three different waiters, none delivered correctly. Tables were left uncleared for at least half an hour after diners left, suggesting a need for additional staff to maintain basic cleanliness. Overall, the high ratings for this restaurant seem unwarranted. Significant improvements in both food quality and service are needed before Casalaplaya deserves more than three stars.

"Great Spot by the Beach"

Nice place to enjoy a drink right by the beach. Be aware that many tables are reserved, so arriving early is a good idea.

"Good Food, Poor Service"

The food looked very appealing, and the place was busy with locals—a promising sign. However, it took 20 minutes just to receive a menu, and after another 20 minutes there was still no service. Due to time constraints, we had to give up and just settle for ice cream.

"Six Stars If Possible!"

If six stars were allowed, this place would get them! Located on the stunning Arrieta beach, the setting is breathtaking. The food is delicious, but what truly stands out is the hardworking and efficient team of servers, led by an inspirational lady. Great food, amazing service, fair prices—it just works perfectly!
