"Nightmare with Love Holidays: Double Booking, False Promises, and Lost Money"
We booked a Christmas holiday with Love Holidays and what followed was a nightmare. Due to delays with confirmation, we received a prompt from Love asking us to reconfirm our booking—which to our shock resulted in being charged twice. We called them immediately, but the damage was already done: both our Ryanair flights and hotel had been booked twice. Their advisor even admitted this had happened before, yet we were told to sort it out with Ryanair ourselves. Ryanair confirmed it was clearly a duplicate error, but since Love Holidays made the booking, only they could issue a refund. Instead, Love pushed the blame back on Ryanair while holding on to their commissions. We were left going in circles, losing £475 in the process. To salvage something, we paid an extra £180 to transfer the second flights elsewhere, only for Love to try adding a cancellation fee on top! Absolutely disgraceful customer service—dishonest, unhelpful, and money-grabbing. If you ever get a “confirm your booking” prompt, don’t do it—ring them. We lost money, time, and peace of mind, and our Christmas trip was ruined. Cowboys—avoid at all costs.
"A Disappointing Experience at Helios Hotel, Side Antalya"
Our group of 13 stayed at the Helios Hotel in Side, Antalya, and unfortunately, we cannot recommend it. We arrived at midnight with no food provided, and the rooms were poorly maintained and not clean. We even had to request basic essentials like towels. To make matters worse, the food offered was repetitive and lacked variety, making the stay far from enjoyable.
"Excellent Experience with Love Holidays in Scotland"
I recently traveled to Scotland with Love Holidays and it turned out to be the perfect option for affordable couple’s travel. The hotels available within this budget were outstanding, offering comfort and quality beyond expectations. Booking was simple and hassle-free, and when a minor issue arose with my wife’s name being misspelled, the support team resolved it quickly and efficiently. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the service and reliability of Love Holidays, and I’ll definitely choose them again for future trips. Highly recommended!
"Misrepresentation and Poor Standards at Loveholidays’ Advertised Hotel"
Loveholidays has unfortunately let me and my family down during what should have been an amazing trip to Turkey this July. While the staff at Ramada by Wyndham, particularly the hospitality manager, were fantastic, the hotel itself fell far short of the 4-star standard advertised. In fact, the three rooms we booked barely met a 3-star level. The issues were numerous—unfinished door frames, poor bathroom standards, wallpapering not completed properly, and light fixtures that were loose or poorly attached. I raised these concerns immediately with both the hotel manager and the Loveholidays representative. Despite my persistent requests to be moved, I was told no alternative rooms were available. My sister was eventually relocated, but even her new room had significant problems. Across the hotel, including the pool area, safety concerns such as dangerously loose handrails were also evident. The rooms advertised on Loveholidays’ website did not match the reality we encountered, nor did they reflect the quality expected of a 3- or 4-star hotel. If I had known the true condition, I would never have booked this property for myself and my family. To make matters worse, Loveholidays initially offered a token 5% refund, which I found insulting given the circumstances and rejected. Following their so-called “investigation,” they have now refused to offer any meaningful resolution or refund.
"Avoid at All Costs – Zero Stars if Possible"
We booked what was sold as a 4-star, romantic, all-inclusive beach holiday with a sea view – it sounded idyllic. What we got was the complete opposite. Our room was in disrepair with no sea view, a broken shower, faulty air conditioning, a door lock that didn’t work, and two separate beds. The staff were rude, the beach was littered with hundreds of rotting jellyfish, and the food was absolutely terrible. When we complained, Loveholidays told us that food is “subjective” and advised us to liaise with hotel management to fix the issues ourselves. I didn’t book a holiday to project-manage the renovation of a rundown hotel that has clearly seen no maintenance in years. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Upon checking, the earliest train arrives in Aguas Calientes at 7:40 AM. With the 30-min bus, you can still catch the 8:00 AM Circuit 1 + Mountain entrance. Alternatively, you may arrive the day before (Aug 30), but please note trains are subject to fare differences. If neither works for you, we can exceptionally process a full refund for both the train and Machu Picchu entrance.
