"Definitely recommended."
Beautiful and charming decor, perfect for a cozy meal for two rather than a large group. We were helped quickly and were able to place our order without delay. The food was tasty and enjoyable, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The only downside was that it felt quite hot inside, which made the experience a little uncomfortable.
"Go only if you are a party of 2"
This restaurant offers excellent tapas and a lively ambiance, but mainly if you’re a party of two. The main room has the vibrant energy you expect from a tapas bar. However, as a group of four, we were seated in a small back room with only four tables and no atmosphere. While the food was good, we missed out on the full experience and the lively vibe that makes this place special.
"Very good"
Not the cheapest option, but absolutely worth it for the quality! Small and charming space with an open kitchen, offering a great variety of tapas. A perfect spot for enjoying flavorful dishes in a lively, intimate setting.
"Good but with aspects to improve"
The food at this restaurant is excellent—both high in quality and beautifully presented. The service at the table is also impressive, with all the waiters being attentive and professional. However, there are a couple of issues worth noting. First, the restaurant requires pre-ordering six hours in advance, and failing to do so incurs a charge of 10 euros per person. While this policy is understandable given limited seating, the execution felt uneven. We arrived on time but had to wait 25 minutes for our table because the previous guests were still seated and not moved on promptly. Second, while the atmosphere is charming, the space is quite small. As a result, you may end up seated in a smaller area than expected, even if you booked for more people. Overall, the dining experience is excellent, but the reservation and seating logistics could be improved.
"Nice atmosphere, tasty tapas"
Busy but fun, this spot offers tasty tapas, friendly staff, and a lively atmosphere. It’s a place we always look forward to returning to whenever we’re in Barcelona.
"A good restaurant in the center"
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and we definitely didn’t regret stopping in! We were lucky to snag the last unreserved table on a busy Thursday lunchtime. The food was good, though I personally felt the quality-to-price ratio leaned a bit too heavily toward the price. Additionally, the waiters seemed slightly disinterested, almost as if they were bothered by the tourist crowd. Despite these minor issues, it didn’t detract from an enjoyable meal.
"Tapas sensation"
This busy restaurant is a good sign of its popularity. Seating is organized in time slots, as there’s usually a wait outside. The food was tasty with generous portions. The space offers a bar-style seating area with high tables along the walls, and normal tables in the back. The team is friendly, helpful, and understands English. A great selection of wines and beers is available. Our first tapas experience here did not disappoint!
"Good but not as exceptional as we expected"
We were hoping for exceptional “revisited” tapas in Barcelona, and while this restaurant delivers on creative offerings, our experience was a bit mixed. The staff was friendly, and the tapas were good, though some dishes were overly salty and didn’t quite live up to the hype. The restaurant was bustling with trendy visitors, suggesting it’s featured in guidebooks. Overall, it was a pleasant meal, but we left slightly disappointed, missing the “wow” factor we had anticipated. The bill was also on the higher side, which isn’t surprising given the location.
"Not thrilled with this touristy bar/ restaurant"
Despite the glowing reviews, this spot was a bit disappointing for us as a 70+ couple, and certainly on the pricey side. We managed an 8:30 pm reservation and walked about 10 minutes from our hotel, but the high temperature and humidity left us drenched by the time we arrived. The restaurant was buzzing with people, mostly young and stylishly dressed, a clear sign of popularity. Inside, the low-lit space featured around 10 high tables against the wall and bar seating, but the temperature soared to 85 degrees with little air circulation, making it loud and difficult to hold a conversation. Service was fair, though my tapas arrived 10 minutes before my husband’s. The food was flavorful—especially a battered, grilled asparagus that was phenomenal—but the humid, crowded, and noisy atmosphere made the experience uncomfortable for us. It seemed more suited to a younger crowd with a taste for trendy dining. With drinks and tapas, our bill came to over €90, reflecting both the quality and the location.
"Lovely food"
We visited this restaurant on our first night in Barcelona after reading the reviews, and the food did not disappoint—it was absolutely delicious. The space is very small but cozy, so booking in advance is essential. We saw many guests being turned away for not having a reservation. Despite its size, the experience is well worth it, making this a must-visit spot for anyone looking for great tapas in the city.
