"Exceptional Service and Outstanding Dining in Lima"
The service at this hotel was top-notch from the moment I arrived and throughout my entire stay, including every interaction and special request. The hotel offers excellent dining, both at the breakfast terrace and at Tragaluz, which is my favorite restaurant in Lima.
"Comfortable Belmond Hotel with Stunning Views"
The hotel is located in a quiet area of Lima atop a sea cliff, a fair drive from the airport—so we highly recommend booking transfers through Belmond. The rooftop pool was clean, though a bit warmer would have been nice. The hotel itself is very comfortable and spotless. This was the first of four Belmond properties we stayed at, along with the Andean Explorer train, and it was a fantastic start to our Peruvian tour!
"Beautiful Hotel But Noise and Staff Issues Impact Stay"
We were disappointed with the front desk staff and our room experience. Although we were upgraded and the room decor was lovely, there was a continuous and very loud noise from the ceiling that prevented sleep and rest. After reporting it on the second night, it took a long time to move us, and the next room was right next to a large, loud party with music and speakers. Even with security involvement, the noise persisted. Eventually, we were moved again, and the following day we heard drilling in the ceiling of the original room. On a positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed a Pisco Sour lesson at the bar, which was a highlight of our 5-week South America trip. The hotel has great potential, but it needs better front desk and security management to match its quality.
"Comfortable Hotel with Great Views, But Falls Short of Luxury"
The hotel is comfortable, but it feels more like a dated Grand Hyatt than a true luxury property. For what is supposed to be Lima’s finest hotel, I was somewhat disappointed. On the plus side, the location is excellent, the staff are kind, and the rooftop pool offers an amazing view.
"A Luxurious Oceanfront Stay in Lima’s Miraflores District"
We spent two nights at this striking high-rise hotel perched on a cliff with sweeping ocean views in the glamorous Miraflores district of Lima. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious and featured classic, traditional furnishings, giving it a slightly conservative feel. Half of the floor seemed to be sectioned off, suggesting potential updates underway. The room included convenient USB-C and USB-A ports by the bed, and the WiFi coverage was reliable throughout. The bed was very comfortable, though despite a large pillow menu, I never quite found the perfect one. The air conditioning was quiet and efficient, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The staff were exceptional—truly five-star in their attentiveness and service. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a vast buffet offering dozens of enticing selections and a hot menu. It was clear the hotel employs skilled pastry chefs, as the pastries and breads—completely different each morning—were reminiscent of a Parisian patisserie. In addition to the classic cheeses, meats, and fruits, there was a delightful variety of local dishes and exotic fruits. Overall, a highly enjoyable and memorable stay in Lima.
"Frustrating Rooftop Experience and Poor Communication"
We tried twice to visit the hotel’s rooftop, calling ahead each time and being told it was open to the public. Despite this, when we arrived with our family of 10, we were turned away both times and told it was not open. They wouldn’t even allow us to go up for a quick family photo. The lack of clear communication and poor hospitality made the experience very disappointing.

An exceptional Belmond hotel in Lima, conveniently within walking distance of many sightseeing spots. The staff are outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Breakfast with a view from the top of Lima quickly became the highlight of each morning. The rooms are beautifully designed with comfortable beds, offering both style and relaxation. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lima!
"An Unforgettable 5-Star Experience in Lima"
Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of extraordinary—truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional and the attention to detail flawless. The room was wonderful, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Special thanks to Giovanni and Luciana, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and were delighted to find a cake in the room, along with several other thoughtful touches. Even though we stayed only one night, the staff’s many small gestures made us feel genuinely welcomed, relaxed, and cared for. A perfect blend of luxury, service, and hospitality.
"Friendly Staff and Good Breakfast, but Rooms Disappoint"
The staff were nice and friendly, and the breakfast was very good. However, the rest of the experience fell short—our room, bathroom, and even the coffee machine felt more like a 3-star hotel. We had booked a “city view,” which turned out to be a view of gray buildings right outside the window.
