"Recommended!"

I booked this hotel primarily to be close to Saint Louis Hospital, and it was very convenient—within walking distance. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was satisfactory. This hotel is located in a more commercial area rather than near Bangkok’s main attractions, but it is close to a BTS station. It lacks amenities, especially breakfast service and basic items like plates and spoons. Soundproofing is also poor, so expect some noise. Overall, it’s fine if your main priority is hospital access.

"Extremely noisy"

First off, the staff at the hotel were extremely professional, friendly, and welcoming. Everyone from the valet and reception to the bell and cleaning crew was very helpful and courteous. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the location is good, situated at the quieter end of Thonglor near Petchaburi. Unfortunately, the room we were given was extremely noisy. The hotel even provides earplugs, which we initially thought were for street noise—but it turns out it was for internal noise. Footsteps in the hallways, slamming doors, and conversations from other rooms were all very audible. Several times I woke up because the noise felt like it was coming from inside our room, with door thumps resonating through the bed. At one point, I even heard a guest shouting for others to keep it down. In short, while the staff and cleanliness are excellent, the lack of soundproofing made for a very sleepless night.

"Cozy and Modern Stay in Bangkok"

I visited Bangkok for a 2-day vacation and checked in a bit early, but the staff were very accommodating. The hotel is beautifully decorated, modern, and cozy. My room was clean, bright, and filled with natural light. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again.

"Good hotel but impossible to reach from remote"

Don’t get me wrong—the hotel itself is very nice and well-located, easily deserving its 4-star rating. Breakfast was good and tidy, and the staff during breakfast were friendly and attentive. However, after we checked out and realized we had left something at the lobby, we tried calling the hotel multiple times but no one answered. From reading other reviews on Google Maps, it seems this is a recurring issue that has not yet been addressed. Additionally, the check-in staff could improve their service attitude, as their approach currently feels a bit negligent and indifferent.

"Great price, fantastic option… if the internet is working"

The property seems alternately listed as a condo or a hotel, but it’s more of a serviced long-stay residence. Rooms range from studios to larger suites with kitchen and laundry facilities. I found the price very affordable—about half the cost of similar hotels—even booking two nights to accommodate an early check-in. Initial impressions were positive: the lobby and dining areas are well-furnished, spacious, and inviting, with a large reading room. My room was clean, thoughtfully designed, and included a sound buffer under the door to reduce hallway noise. Some less visible areas, like hallway walls and parts of the pool area, showed wear and tear, but maintenance work was in progress. The main downside was the internet. Wifi was out most of the first day, which was challenging as I had virtual meetings. Staff were understanding and let me use the lobby network, which worked fine, but if reliable internet is essential, this could be a concern. The staff were professional, if not as effusively welcoming as some reviews suggested. The on-site restaurant offers breakfast and lunch, the gym is well-equipped, and the infinity pool was enjoyable. The location is excellent, and the combination of quality and affordability explains the property’s high ranking. Overall, if internet issues are rare, I would return without hesitation.

"Good location . Clean and well organized room."

I traveled here with my husband for an educational workshop and found this place very convenient in many ways. The room was well-organized, clean, and comfortable. The hotel’s location made it easy to access the workshop venue, which was just a short distance away. Overall, a hassle-free and pleasant stay.

"Very dissapointed"

I was really disheartened after reading so many great reviews, as my experience was quite different. Cons: The staff were rude and unaccommodating, possibly because I’m not Asian. They refused to provide extra towels, and on the last day claimed there were no fresh towels available. Linens were torn and worn, the pool has loose tiles that are a safety hazard, and both the sauna and jacuzzi were out of service. The pool is unmanned, so you can’t ask anyone for assistance. Pros: The location is perfect, within walking distance of all the hotspots in Thonglor. The room cleaners were diligent and did their job well. The pool area has a beautiful view and offers a peaceful environment.

"Comfortable Rooms"

We came to Bangkok for medical reasons, and The Residence was recommended due to its proximity to the hospital. The rooms were tidy and basic, featuring a bed, TV, chaise lounge, tea and coffee making facilities, a safe, mini fridge, and complimentary water bottles. The bathroom was clean and functional with a nice walk-in shower. Breakfast buffet was delicious, and the dining staff were pleasant. However, there was no lunch or dinner service, so you need to go out for other meals. What let it down was the reception staff, who were somewhat ambivalent and not very helpful when giving directions or answering questions. Additionally, we were surprised by charges for extra blankets (300 baht) and the very limited toilet paper supply, which felt stingy despite the bathroom hoses provided. Overall, the hotel is clean and convenient, but it lacks the approachable, guest-friendly service that would make a stay truly comfortable.

"A bit overrated"

This was my first trip to Bangkok, staying 5 nights at around $48/night without breakfast. The minibus service to BTS was out of service, which was a drawback for the location. You can still use a bike service (20 THB per trip to BTS) or walk about 2.2 km. The superior room was small but very clean and neat, and the provided personal care items (shampoo, etc.) were impressive. The swimming pool, however, was quite dirty, especially considering Bangkok’s current air pollution levels.
