"Enjoy your stay in Bangkok"

This hotel is in a very good location—slightly away from the noise and bustle—run by a firm yet friendly owner. Rooms at the back are a little small, but the beds are excellent. The air conditioning had a minor issue, but it was quickly repaired. Breakfasts were good, making for a pleasant stay overall.

"ok could be better."

We really enjoyed our triple room, which was spacious and came with a balcony and private bathroom. The breakfast was nice. The only downsides were the lack of a lift and a somewhat confusing layout—worth checking a YouTube video (@seewhatwesee360) to get a better sense of the place.

"Good"

The price is reasonable, and the room is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and speak English. The hotel is conveniently located near Khao San Road, with several restaurants within walking distance. Rooms have AC, which is great for Bangkok’s heat. MRT and BTS stations are a bit far, but buses are accessible. Breakfast is available, though payment is required at the front desk.

"Wasn’t impressed"

I stayed here for a night due to a visa delay. My room had a shared bathroom, which I hadn’t realized in advance. The bathrooms were clean, but the room itself was tiny and a bit depressing. On the plus side, the staff were nice, and the area is pleasant. It was cheap, so perhaps I got what I paid for.

"Good place too stay"

This hostel has a great location—just a 10–15 minute walk from Khao San Road, yet far enough to enjoy a quiet night’s sleep away from the noise of motorbikes and party crowds. You’ll also find plenty of small, local restaurants nearby offering delicious food at great prices.

"Quiet spot not far from the busy hub"

The building and garden were very pleasant, and the hostel is just a 10-minute walk from Khao San Road while being on a quiet street. The air conditioning was temperamental, but the Wi-Fi was nearly unusable. I also wasn’t thrilled about having to leave the room keys at the desk, only to find them there when I returned.

"Close to restaurants and shopping area"

The hotel is well located, with polite and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and well maintained. As a budget option, it offers excellent value for money and is within walking distance of many restaurants. The building itself is over 100 years old, giving it a calm, rustic charm.

"So-so experience"

My partner and I spent three nights at Samsensam Place. The reception staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was fairly clean, as expected for Southeast Asia, and the location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to Khao San Road. The main drawback was the “included breakfast,” which consisted of two thin slices of white bread with butter and jam, a cup of yogurt, and a small coffee or tea. Breakfast was a major factor in our decision to stay, so we were disappointed and ended up seeking meals elsewhere. Having stayed in many guesthouses and hostels in SEA, we’ve experienced much more generous breakfast offerings.

"no good , not worth , Should improve."

The room lacked basic amenities—no refrigerator, no television, and the bathroom was very uncomfortable. There was also no drinking water provided, which I found unusual. For the price paid, the room was not worth it.

"Beautiful Budgeted Property"

This Bangkok property is a hidden gem in the old city area, though it’s important to note that there is no elevator/lift—so check which floor your room is on when booking, especially if you have heavy luggage. That said, someone is available to assist you. I loved many things about this property: it’s wonderfully quiet since it’s in a residential area, and being a heritage building over 100 years old gives it a unique charm. The quality is excellent for the price, making it very affordable. The staff, especially Ms. Lak, are exceptionally helpful and always go the extra mile for guests. The location is convenient with restaurants nearby and cabs just outside or within a short walk. The rooms are spacious, the property is sparkling clean, and breakfast, though basic, is very good. Travel and sightseeing arrangements are offered at reasonable rates, and laundry service is just 50 baht per kilogram. Beautiful flowers adorn the property, and there’s even a small water feature with fish, adding to the serene ambiance. A truly delightful stay in Bangkok!
