"Nice local experience"

This is a high-level restaurant, beautifully surrounded by a lush garden and with great attention to detail. The staff is exceptionally kind, and the menu features Cambodian cuisine with some creative variations. While the prices are slightly higher than the local average, the overall experience and quality make it absolutely worth it.

"Go when it’s not busy"

When I arrived, the restaurant was very busy with several large groups, which understandably slowed down the service. I ordered the 180g Khmer steak, served with fries and salad, and requested it cooked medium. Unfortunately, the steak arrived undercooked—closer to medium-rare, almost blue in the center. The fries were overcooked and served in a small portion, making the meal quite disappointing, likely due to the rush of the evening. Worst of all, by the following day I experienced severe stomach problems, and considering I had breakfast at the same place every day, this restaurant was the most likely cause.

"Excellent restaurant just outside the city centre"

Situated just outside the center of Siem Reap near a main intersection, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The reception and service were excellent, making the experience even more enjoyable. I shared a plate of fresh rolls, grilled Khmer beef, and a unique salad featuring beef with red ants. To accompany the meal, I had a draft beer and a refreshing lime juice, followed later by a mango-banana juice and a mango mojito. Everything was delicious, generous in portion, and satisfying. The only minor note is that I personally would have preferred the beef without the sauce, as it wasn’t shown in the menu photo—but it was still tasty nonetheless. Altogether, I spent around $22 and would certainly recommend this spot!

"Please evening"

The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff, but the food didn’t quite meet expectations. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai, which was unfortunately very wet and not enjoyable, while my partner’s fish dish was just average. Overall, it was pleasant enough for the setting, but nothing particularly impressive. Onwards and upwards!

"To try Khmer cuisine"

We decided to try this restaurant after passing it a few times on our way back to the hotel, and it turned out to be a great choice. Located just outside the busy nightlife area, it offers a quieter atmosphere for those looking to enjoy a relaxed meal. We ordered fresh spring rolls (one serving includes six pieces), Khmer grilled beef, and a salad with beef and fried red ants. While I couldn’t quite define the exact flavor of the ants, the dish was intriguing and memorable. For drinks, we had a refreshing lime juice and a draft beer, followed later by a mango mojito and a mango-banana juice. Everything tasted good, and the service was excellent—fast, friendly, and attentive. The entire experience cost us just over $20, making it a spot I’d definitely recommend.

"Good food"

The meal itself was nice, with good service and fair value for money. However, the environment wasn’t as appealing as expected, and there are certainly more attractive dining options in town—though also less appealing ones. Overall, a decent but unremarkable experience.

"Good compromise"

If you’re craving authentic Cambodian dishes but also fancy something familiar like fries and grilled meat, this restaurant is a perfect choice. It combines traditional flavors with comfort food options, making it a great spot for a satisfying and well-rounded meal.

"Pretty good food and excellent service"

The restaurant is conveniently located, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, clearly making an effort to please their guests. While most of the food was enjoyable, the fish was unfortunately very undercooked, so we had to send it back. The staff handled the situation well, responding quickly and apologetically. The green mango salad had a strong fish flavor, which was noted on the menu but something we had overlooked; the restaurant kindly didn’t charge us for it. On the positive side, the green pepper steak was tasty and well-prepared, rounding out a dining experience with both highs and lows.

"Great!"

Really recommended! The staff here are amazing, and Srey Ka in particular was a fantastic waitress who made the experience even better. A great place to eat and definitely worth a visit.

Specializes in Cambodian barbecue and a relaxed setting; good variety and provides both local and Western options. A solid choice if you like grilled meats and casual dining.
