"Beautiful Grounds and Excellent Service"

This property offers a stunning setting, slightly outside the center of town but just a short, inexpensive tuk-tuk ride away. The grounds and pool were among the best we experienced during our eight-property luxury tour of Southeast Asia. The swim-up bar was a highlight, though prices were a bit higher compared to similar resorts in Vietnam. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the service was top-notch. The breakfast buffet was very good, and we also tried the dinner buffet one evening, which was decent though standard for a buffet. So why not a five-star rating? Unfortunately, our room was underwhelming—likely because we were part of a tour group. It faced the back of the property instead of the lovely inner courtyard, with a view of foliage, a waterway, and a nearby road, which wasn’t ideal. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to relax and recharge after exploring Angkor Wat, with beautiful surroundings and excellent service, even if the room experience left a little to be desired.

"Room for improvement. My spouse fell off the bed while sleeping because the edges sloping, overused.g"

The staff here are very helpful, accommodating, and polite, which made our stay enjoyable. The room itself was spacious, giving us plenty of comfort. However, a few improvements would really elevate the experience — the shower head needs to be lowered for convenience, the tray mat and mattress could use replacement, and the deck chairs were a bit dusty. With some updates, this hotel could match the excellent service of its team.

"Disastrous bathroom!"

The hotel offers a quiet atmosphere with a spacious garden, a large pool, and attentive staff. The rooms are also generously sized, but unfortunately, the overall design and practicality leave much to be desired. Poor sound insulation makes it easy to hear neighbors coughing or snoring, and there’s only one bedside table and lamp, which is inconvenient for anyone on the opposite side. Closet space is limited as well, with no shelves to place laundry. The biggest disappointment was the bathroom. There’s no counter space for toiletries, forcing us to move everything into the room, which already has limited storage. The bathtub has no handheld shower, only an overhead rain shower, making it impossible to rinse off without getting your hair wet. These impractical design choices really detract from the experience. While the garden, pool, and staff were lovely, the lack of convenience and poor room layout make this hotel, unfortunately, just average—and not one we’d return to.

"Possibly human trafficking go on at this resort."

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. While the property itself is nice, we witnessed behavior at the pool that raised serious concerns and made us extremely uncomfortable. There appeared to be a situation involving a young girl, around 12 or 13, interacting inappropriately with an adult man under the supervision of another woman, which suggested possible exploitation or trafficking. The interactions were highly suspicious and disturbing, leaving our group of guests with a shared sense of unease. Additionally, we noticed other groups at the pool that gave off a similar impression of questionable activity. While the hotel grounds are attractive, this experience has led us to seriously reconsider supporting this hotel chain in the future. Safety, ethics, and the wellbeing of children are non-negotiable, and we cannot endorse a place where such troubling situations are allowed to occur.

"Super service but tired room"

We stayed here for three nights after a Mekong cruise and overall had a very enjoyable experience. The staff were lovely, the lobby was beautiful, breakfast was nice, and the pool was absolutely superb. The location is convenient too, with a golf course about 30 minutes away and downtown just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride. That said, the room felt a bit tired. The old-style furniture showed its age, there were no charging points (adaptors needed), and while the two double beds pushed together made for an enormous king-sized bed, the duvet barely covered the sides—so every time one of us rolled over, the other ended up without a cover. The bathroom also looked dated, with chipped tiles and missing grout. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay thanks to the staff and facilities, but the room condition keeps it from feeling like a true five-star experience.

"Relaxing and family friendly"

We spent a beautiful long weekend at this hotel, enjoying the pool, restaurants, bars, and exploring the nearby Angkor temples. The wonderfully attentive staff were the true highlight of our stay! Our daughter was warmly welcomed and delighted with fun games, activities, and a thoughtful children’s menu at the restaurant. The pool area was absolutely lovely, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the members’ bar with afternoon drinks while admiring the lake view. Thank you to the team for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable.

"Fantastic staff and lovey garden environment"

This was our first visit, and from the very start the hotel made us feel welcome. Our airport pick-up was ready on arrival and even shared helpful local information. The staff consistently greeted us warmly, remaining friendly, polite, and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with lovely gardens, a lake, and pool areas, and the rooms are set apart from the main reception and restaurants, giving a nice resort feel. That said, we were a little disappointed with our room. It felt dated, with no sockets near the bed—charging phones was inconvenient even with our adapters. The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable, and I ended up sleeping on one of the pillows. The bathroom also had a missing door stop, so the door banged loudly each time it opened. Lounge access was included, but post-COVID changes meant it was shared with a restaurant, which didn’t really work well. On the positive side, when we raised our concerns, the hotel staff did everything they could to address them. While the facilities could use updating, the outstanding service and hospitality from the team truly deserve five stars.
