"Love the windows view from the room"

I was initially hesitant to book this hotel due to its rating, but it turned out to be better than expected. The front desk staff were very attentive and caring, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Our room offered a great view with large floor-to-ceiling windows, giving a sense of openness, and it was spacious enough for our needs. That said, the room felt slightly less clean than I would have liked—likely due to the natural wear of the marble surfaces. Since I was traveling with a child, we were placed near the elevator, which helped mask any toddler noise, but it also meant the room wasn’t particularly quiet; the elevator sounds were noticeable. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Lower East Side with plenty of boutiques nearby. One major disappointment was the pool, which required an additional $40 fee at check-in. Unfortunately, it was unusable as it was full of moths—a surprise given the beautiful August weather. The shower also presented an issue; I couldn’t figure out how to get hot water, and since it was late at night, I opted for a cold shower instead. Overall, the hotel exceeded expectations in service and location, but some maintenance issues need attention.

"Perfect location."

This hotel is perfectly located, right across from the subway and within walking distance of many attractions. A nearby convenience store was handy for grabbing snacks for the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making the stay enjoyable overall. However, there were a few downsides. The pool was closed during our visit, which was disappointing given the warm weather. Additionally, the soundproofing in the rooms was poor, and we could hear the couple next door being intimate one night and talking until 5 a.m. the following night. Despite these issues, the hotel’s location and helpful staff make it a place we would consider staying at again.

"Great front desk"

I had a fantastic experience working with Jimmy Romero at the front desk regarding my reservation. He was incredibly patient, kind, and helpful, making the process smooth and stress-free. I’m really looking forward to my stay!

"May in NY"

The hotel is in a convenient location, surrounded by local shops and eateries, giving a very authentic NYC vibe. We stayed in a junior suite, which was spacious and well-appointed. A couple of minor drawbacks: the window didn’t fully open, which appears to be standard for upper-floor rooms in New York, and the sofa bed mattress was uncomfortable, sinking in the middle—something that should definitely be updated. Overall, a great base for exploring the city.

"Amazing stay at Sixty LES!"

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We had originally booked a room for three, but due to a maintenance issue, Carlos quickly upgraded us to a beautiful suite. He was consistently helpful and a welcoming presence, ensuring we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay. Every interaction with the staff was warm and kind, making us feel genuinely valued. Having stayed at many hotels in the city, I can honestly say this was a standout experience. The thoughtfulness of Carlos and the entire team has truly won me over to Sixty LES.

"A wonderful stay. We look forward to our next stay."

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The hotel’s location is ideal, close to vibrant nightlife and excellent restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The service throughout the hotel was impeccable—special thanks to Jimmy R. at the front desk, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting NYC.

"Fantastic location, great staff, clean and comfortable"

The staff at this hotel are outstanding, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer plenty of storage for their size. The location is ideal—within walking distance of dozens of excellent restaurants in the East Village and Lower East Side, giving you everything you could possibly want. The pool is a true “jewel,” perfect for recharging in the afternoons before heading back out. The common areas are great for working or relaxing, and room service is conveniently provided by the excellent Blue Ribbon Sushi. A quirky touch we loved: a Fellini film playing in the elevator. This has definitely become our go-to hotel in the city! Minor drawbacks include the minibar, which felt unnecessary; a small fridge for guest use would be preferable. Street noise can be noticeable on weekend nights if you’re sensitive, and rooms near the in-hotel social club might also be louder—but on the 16th floor, we experienced no disturbance. Overall, a highly enjoyable and memorable stay.

"Nice-ish but needs work"

The hotel room itself was fine and offered a decent view, but overall the stay felt overpriced given the experience. There were several issues: unpleasant staff, ignored requests during pre-check-in, a poor front desk experience, slow elevator service, and missing basic amenities such as body wash and hand soap. Customer service was lacking, with requests often ignored, delayed, or forgotten—possibly due to understaffing.

"Memorable week in NYC!"

The rooms at this hotel are surprisingly spacious for NYC, with dreamy beds and fantastic showers. The location is a bit rough around the edges, but we enjoyed discovering neighborhood gems like Taka Ramen, Oven Slice Pizza, and the local bodega. The hotel staff were friendly, cool, and extremely helpful, and housekeeping was consistently on point. Special shout out to Marcos, Jose, Joey, and Destiny for making our stay even more memorable. We had an excellent stay and can’t wait for our NYC Chapter Two! Thank you so much!

"Not sure its worth the money."

This hip hotel in the LES has a cool vibe and welcoming staff at arrival. The room was stylish, though it showed signs of wear. Unfortunately, we were awakened at 6 a.m. by loud noise from the room above, which sounded like sanding or heavy vacuuming on wooden floors. Beds were comfortable but nothing exceptional. Overall, the stay didn’t feel worth the high price paid.
