"Comforting Korean Food, Just Like Home"

Delicious Korean food with that comforting, home-style taste — the best kind! The service is always wonderful, and I love that the soup comes out piping hot (though I do wish the bowls were filled more generously). They used to offer free refills on a few side dishes, but now there’s a charge, which is a little disappointing. Still, the food is so good that it keeps me coming back. Pro tip: come hungry, and don’t forget to grab a black bean latte on your way out. :))

"Eater-Recommended and Worth It"

Eater recommended this spot, and it’s easy to see why. It’s a fast-casual restaurant with a minimal menu—and honestly, if you do something well, why complicate it? The setup is simple: just choose your protein. We went with squid and pork, and both were excellent. The banchan were absolutely delicious, and the drinks hit the spot. Best of all? They offer free coffee or hot chocolate! It’s a very straightforward place, but the food quality and value are outstanding. On top of that, the staff were friendly and welcoming. A great find!

"Authentic Korean Flavors Worth the Wait"

This Korean restaurant is absolutely finger-licking good! The food bursts with flavor and authenticity, and the staff are polite, friendly, and welcoming. The traditional atmosphere makes the whole experience feel even more special. I ordered two dishes for lunch, and both were phenomenal. The only downside is the wait — if you’re really hungry, plan to arrive early because the line gets long. Still, it’s 100% worth it. I’d definitely go back and highly recommend it!

"Authentic K-Drama Vibes, but Rushed Experience"

The moment you step into this restaurant, it feels like being transported straight into a K-drama. The food is authentic, home-style Korean cuisine with incredibly generous portions and a wide variety of side dishes. We especially loved the spicy pork and bulgogi — perfectly balanced between sweet and smoky BBQ flavors, even reminding me of traditional Chinese 烧烤 seasonings. The service itself was great, and our waitress even offered us free shots to make up for some hiccups. Unfortunately, we were seated late despite having a reservation, and then felt rushed to finish our meal as the next group arrived. For that reason, I’m giving three stars, though the food itself was excellent.

"Outstanding Donkatsu – A Must-Try!"

Loved the Donkatsu! It was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The coating was perfectly crispy yet light, and the sauce was absolutely phenomenal. The mushrooms and onions added a rich, earthy depth that tied everything together beautifully. So 👍👍👍 good!

"A One-Time Visit for Korean “Drivers’ Diner” Vibes"

I came here for Sunday lunch, intrigued by the buzz around its unique concept inspired by Korean gisa sikdang (drivers’ diners). The menu at lunch was fairly limited, which was a bit of a letdown, but overall, the experience wasn’t bad. The pork bone soup (gamjatang) had good flavor, though I wished the rice had been better prepared. One downside was the wait—it took more than 20 minutes for our food to arrive after being seated. It’s definitely worth checking out once for the concept and atmosphere, but I’m not sure I’d be in a rush to return.

"Hearty Korean Fare with Generous Portions"

Wish I had come earlier when banchan refills were still free and unlimited! The food here is solid, with impressively large portions. The decor mimics the “taxi cab restaurant” style, but the quality of the dishes far surpasses that casual vibe. We kicked things off with the spicy bone soup—perfect for getting the appetite going. About half the banchan includes protein, which is very generous; I especially loved the stewed beef and marinated shrimp (though I wouldn’t count seaweed sheets as a full dish). We shared three protein entrées, and every one of them was delicious. The jujube ginger tea offered at the end was a thoughtful touch and a great digestive aid. The only downside is that the space is quite cozy and gets loud, so you’ll need to speak up to hear each other.

"A Homely, Old-School Korean Diner Experience"

From the moment you step inside, it feels like being transported back in time to a classic Korean diner. The interior is beautifully designed—small and a little cramped, yes, but cozy and welcoming. The food was excellent, with just the right portion sizes. They even offer free refills of three side dishes, though I didn’t need them since I left full and satisfied. The service was equally impressive—friendly staff who made the meal feel even more homely. The little black bean latte at the end was such a thoughtful touch! As a Korean, the food felt authentic and comforting, like a taste of home. The only downside is the price, which came to nearly $40 per person with tax. Still, considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, I felt it was worth it. Just be sure to arrive early—this is a small, popular spot that fills up quickly.
