"Fresh and Flavorful Tacos"

I stopped by for a quick taco and was impressed by the fresh ingredients—definitely one of the better taco spots in the city. I tried the carne asada and paired it with an agua santa (pineapple, cucumber, lime, and palo santo), which was refreshing. Portions are a bit smaller compared to places like Los Tacos No. 1, but the quality makes up for it. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more of their offerings!

"Best Taco in NYC"

Tried the trompo, carne asada, and chicken tacos. While a bit pricey, the trompo is the standout—juicy, flavorful, and easily the best taco in NYC. If you want the most bang for your buck, stick to multiple trompo tacos and skip the rest.

"Stick to the Steak Trompo"

I tried every taco on the menu, and while the steak trompo was tasty, the others fell short. If I return, I’d stick with just the steak—it’s definitely the standout.

"Delicious Tacos Worth Trying"

As a California native, finding good tacos in NYC can be tough, but this spot delivered. I tried the mushroom and chicken tacos—mushroom was simple but tasty, while the chicken was absolutely delicious. Both were satisfying, and the flavors kept me coming back for more. Definitely planning to return to try the other options!

"Overhyped Tacos for the Trendy Crowd"

The tacos here are overhyped and seem tailored for a young, trendy SoHo/Nolita crowd. The tortillas are decent and tasty, with the mushroom tacos standing out as the best of the five options. Unfortunately, the steak trompos are dry and stale, while the chicken, carne asada, and pork carnitas are bland and lack freshness. The agua fresca is disappointing and adds little to the meal. Communal tables on the side street are uncomfortable, and the long lines only add to the chaotic experience. Overall, it’s more about the scene than the food.

"Small Menu, Big Flavors"

I stopped by this new taco spot and was blown away—the tacos were absolutely delicious. I tried both the chicken and steak, and each was incredible, packed with flavor. The owner is super friendly and down-to-earth, and the vibe of the place is relaxed and fun. The menu may be small, but the quality and taste make it more than worth a visit!

"Long Wait, Underwhelming Tacos"

Not worth the hype. On a Saturday night at 6 PM, we waited 45–60 minutes in line just to try the tacos. The steak trompo was a major disappointment—overly salty and over-seasoned, earning only a 4/10. The carnitas and chicken were mediocre at best (6/10), and the carne asada was already sold out. Even the drinks were underwhelming, with a tiny Diet Coke. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this spot.
