"Disappointing Customer Service Despite Being a Regular Traveler"

I have been a regular traveler with Larryta and usually enjoy their service. However, my most recent experience was very disappointing. I booked my ticket using points via a phone call, since the app does not allow point redemption. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication — instead of booking Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, the ticket was mistakenly issued for the opposite direction, which I only realized close to departure. When customer service contacted me, I expected polite clarification and help to resolve the mistake. Instead, the staff spoke rudely, which was disheartening. It left me feeling that perhaps local Cambodian passengers like myself are not treated with the same courtesy as foreign travelers. I sincerely hope Larryta takes this feedback seriously. Clearer communication, equal respect for all passengers, and better booking support (especially through the app) would greatly improve the reliability and overall experience.

"Frustrating Journey with Larryta Bus – Broken Laptop and Poor Service"

I took the Larryta bus from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh and, unfortunately, it turned into a very frustrating experience. At the midpoint stop, the driver first announced a 10-minute break. My friend and I quickly bought some instant noodles and returned on time, only to wait another 30 minutes before departure. To make matters worse, the bus later had to turn back because they had forgotten a passenger, leaving us far behind schedule. In an effort to catch up, the driver began speeding. While I was working on my MacBook Pro, the bus braked suddenly, causing my water bottle to fly forward and crack my laptop screen—an extremely stressful and costly accident. When I reported the incident at the counter in Phnom Penh, the staff dismissed it, saying, “Not our problem.” The only positives were the comfortable sleeping beds and the onboard restroom. However, the lack of professionalism, poor time management, and careless driving overshadowed everything else. I left this trip very disappointed and would not recommend Larryta for reliable or safe travel.

"Poor Service Recovery and Lost Loyalty"

I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I requested to change my ticket just two hours before departure due to work commitments, asking to move it to 7 pm, 8 pm, or even 9 pm — any available option. Instead, the company gave me a new time that I could not make. When I asked if I could pay extra to switch to the night bus, the request was refused, even though seats were available. The manager insisted I would have to purchase an entirely new ticket rather than allowing a simple exchange. This attitude clearly shows the company prioritizes squeezing more money out of loyal customers rather than providing fair solutions. Well done, Larryta — you’ve just lost a loyal customer. I truly hope management takes a serious look at how their customer service is handled because from a passenger’s perspective, the current approach feels unprofessional and inconsiderate.

"A Nightmare Journey with Larryta Express"

I had one of the worst travel experiences with Larryta Express on 17 April 2024. I purchased my ticket from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh through their official website, and the problems began right from the start. The scheduled departure was at 2:13 pm, yet the bus only left around 3:30 pm. To make matters worse, the air conditioner was completely ineffective, leaving me sweating and fanning myself for the entire trip. When questioned, the driver brushed it off, saying all their buses were the same and the air conditioners were never cold—clearly just an excuse to ignore the issue. The situation worsened during the dinner stop. What was supposed to be a quick 30-minute break stretched into over an hour before the journey resumed. We finally arrived in Phnom Penh past 11:00 pm, making the total travel time 7.5 hours despite relatively smooth traffic. The entire ride felt suffocating, almost like being trapped in a cell. This was a truly terrible experience, and unless improvements are made, Larryta Express will remain my very last choice for future travel.

"Unreliable and Poorly Managed Service"

I have traveled with this company many times, but the experience has consistently been disappointing. Passengers are asked to arrive 30 minutes before departure, yet the buses almost always leave at least 15 minutes late. This makes the early arrival pointless, as everyone ends up sitting and waiting while the driver disappears without any explanation. Meal breaks are another frustration. The driver announces a 20-minute stop, forcing passengers to rush their meals, but then the driver often takes much longer — sometimes 40 minutes or more. This lack of respect for passengers’ time shows poor management and a lack of professionalism. After so many similar experiences, I will try to avoid using this company in the future.

"Smooth Journey with Professional Service"

My experience with Larryta was smooth from the moment I purchased the ticket until the end of my trip to Siem Reap. The coordinators did a great job of announcing the next scheduled minivans and boarding both passengers and luggage in an organized, phased manner. The minivan itself felt a little cramped for a tall person like me, but the seats were decent and complimentary water bottles were provided. During the 6+ hour trip, we had two stops of about 20 minutes each, which was convenient. What stood out most was our driver — very professional, careful, and supportive throughout the journey. While it was a bit challenging that he didn’t speak English, I managed just fine and appreciated his friendly attitude.

"Nightmare Experience with Overcrowded Bus During KNY Eve"

I booked a ticket for 11:46 PM on KNY Eve, but the bus still hadn’t boarded by 2:00 AM. The reason given was that the station was overcrowded and buses couldn’t all enter at the same time. My main concern is this: if your company cannot manage the schedule properly, why allow bookings every minute? The system allows customers to book continuously, but in reality, each bus takes more than 10 minutes to leave and the station can only accommodate three buses at a time for boarding. I’ve experienced flight delays of up to an hour due to weather or other reasonable causes, but this bus schedule and arrangement are completely unacceptable. I spent the entire night just waiting to board. My feedback for improvement: if your company cannot manage bus timing efficiently, please restrict booking availability to reflect reality.
