"Nice New Terminal but the Service Got Slower"
The new PNR terminal looks clean and modern, which is a big improvement in appearance. However, the trains have become noticeably slower, making the overall experience quite frustrating. It feels more inconvenient now — sobrang hassle — especially when compared to before, when the stations weren’t as nice but the waiting time was much shorter. The upgrade in facilities is appreciated, but hopefully, the management can also focus on improving train frequency and speed to match the better-looking terminals.
"Easy Online Booking but Strict and Sometimes Delayed Service"
We booked our tickets online, and the process was quite simple and convenient. However, there’s a P50 convenience fee per ticket, which adds up if you’re buying for multiple passengers. Tip: Arrive at least 40–60 minutes before your scheduled trip, or even earlier if you plan to buy tickets at the terminal. They’re very strict with departure times and won’t make exceptions even if you’re delayed due to road closures (like during Independence Day at Monumento). Rant: If you arrive late, be prepared to pay a surcharge — so plan your travel time carefully. The terminal itself is decent and clean enough, with charging stations available, though it’s best to keep an eye on your devices. Some trips, however, aren’t always on time, so a bit of patience is needed. Thankfully, it rained just before we arrived, which made the wait a bit more comfortable.
"Slow Service and Long Waiting Time at Caloocan Terminal"
The service at the Caloocan terminal is really slow. We had to wait for hours just to get a ride, even though there were plenty of buses parked there that weren’t operating. It was especially difficult to see many senior citizens waiting patiently with no clear updates on departure times. It seems like there’s a shortage of manpower or coordination issues causing these long delays. I hope the management can address this soon — passengers deserve a smoother and more efficient experience, especially the elderly who rely on these trips.
"Super Easy and Convenient Ticket Booking Experience"
Navigating their application was incredibly easy! I never knew that booking a ticket could be this simple and straightforward. Everything you need is clearly shown — the ticket price, departure and arrival times, and even the day of your choice. The whole process was smooth, quick, and very convenient. It definitely makes travel planning so much easier!
"Travelling Man — That’s What I Am"
Travelling is a part of who I am. Exploring new routes, hopping on buses or trains, and discovering places like Malolos, Bulacan from hubs such as Victory Mall Caloocan and Monumento — it’s all part of the experience. The journey may not always be perfect, but for a travelling man like me, every trip is another story to tell.
"Convenient Starting Point for Trips to Bulacan"
We were on our way to Malolos, Bulacan, and decided to board a bus at Victory Mall Caloocan. The experience was fairly alright. Being located in Monumento — the gateway to several transport hubs connecting Metro Manila’s northern areas like Navotas, Malabon, and Valenzuela, as well as provinces such as Bulacan — it’s a convenient starting point for travelers heading out of the city.
"An Appeal to LTFRB: Please Add More Buses for Commuters’ Convenience"
To the LTFRB, I would like to make an earnest appeal regarding the current shortage of buses. It’s becoming unreasonable that passengers have to wait in line for three hours or more, only to endure a 1.5-hour trip afterward. Many of us are coming from long days at work, exhausted and just wanting to get home. What makes it more concerning is that there are elderly and physically tired individuals waiting in line as well. Not everyone has the stamina to stand for hours, especially after a full day’s work. If social distancing and safety are the reasons behind the limited number of buses, that’s understandable — but then please increase the number of operating buses to balance both health protocols and commuter welfare. Having only around 10 buses a day simply doesn’t make sense for the volume of people relying on public transport. We hope LTFRB can look into this issue and prioritize the comfort, safety, and dignity of daily commuters who depend on this essential service.
