"Terrible Service, Overpriced Tickets, and Poor Management at PKP InterCity"
The service on PKP InterCity trains is extremely disappointing. Trains are never on time, prices are outrageously high, and the overall system is horribly organized. Cleaning staff during the trip take garbage from passengers’ bins, spreading bacteria and touching waste repeatedly — sometimes even disturbing sleeping passengers while doing so. The app and food ordering system are frustrating and unreliable, and despite the high ticket prices, the service is no better than a regular train. Frequent travelers like me are tired of hearing the same excuses about delays — a simple apology is fine once, but constant repetition abuses customer trust and patience. Overall, this reflects poor management at the central PKP command, who should be held accountable for failing to maintain basic standards. The service is shameful, and the company desperately needs serious organizational reform.
"Unprofessional and Unhelpful Customer Service at Katowice PKP Station"
On 10 April 2024, around 13:00, upon arriving at Katowice station, we approached the PKP customer service desk to ask about ticket discounts. Unfortunately, it turned into a very negative experience due to the unprofessional behavior of the two staff members on duty. The employees were rude, listless, and uninterested in helping. Even though there was no queue, they refused to answer questions properly. When we asked about student discounts, their responses were limited to “I don’t know”, accompanied by huffing and visible irritation. It was clear they had no desire to assist or perform their job properly. Such behavior raises questions about the quality of PKP customer service and the selection process for employees. It seems technical and interpersonal skills are not required, which is unbelievable and deeply disappointing for any customer seeking help.
"Horrible Customer Service and Racist Behavior at PKP Intercity"
I had an absolutely terrible experience at the PKP Intercity office today, due to a staff member who displayed shocking racist behavior. I approached the counter to request a refund because I didn’t have my student card when I traveled. Instead of being helpful, the woman shouted and screamed at me, completely ignoring my valid concerns. Her behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply offensive. No customer should ever be treated this way, regardless of the situation. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with dignity and respect when seeking assistance or making inquiries. This experience was humiliating and unacceptable. 🤦🏽♂️
"Exceptional Service and Honesty on IC Train from Lublin to Katowice"
I want to share an exceptional experience I had while traveling on August 14 by train from Lublin to Katowice. The train arrived on time, but unfortunately, as I was leaving the carriage with my wife, I accidentally left a bag containing all my documents and a significant amount of money. I only realized it was missing about an hour later. I immediately contacted IC employees to report the incident and was pleasantly surprised by their quick response and customer-friendly approach. Within 15 minutes, I received a call back informing me that my bag had been found and was waiting at the customer service point at Katowice station. Upon arrival, all the contents were returned intact. I sincerely thank the staff for their honesty and reliable work. Their professionalism turned a potentially stressful situation into a reassuring and positive experience. Respectfully, Your Customer ;)
"Friendly and Welcoming Ticket Check at EIC Chrobry"
I was very impressed by the courteous and cheerful way the lady at EIC Chrobry checked tickets. She greeted passengers in a warm and unusual manner, which really stood out. Starting the day with such friendly service can brighten anyone’s mood and make the travel experience more pleasant. A small gesture, but it makes a big difference. Best regards!
