"Outside Seating Brings You Back"

Overpriced and serving fairly average Italian fare, this spot relies heavily on its location rather than its cuisine. The service can come across as a bit condescending, which doesn’t help justify the prices. Still, it’s hard to resist returning on a beautiful day—the outdoor seating in the Tuileries offers a lovely setting with garden views and the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

"Awesome Food and Dining Experience"

Like many, I was skeptical given the current trend of upmarket restaurants turning into tourist traps filled with influencers. However, I left Loulou pleasantly surprised. Despite my modest expectations—even for a birthday dinner—everything was fantastic. The restaurant offers great views of the Eiffel Tower from its cozy spot beneath the Louvre and Tuileries Gardens. The interior is chic yet comfortable, the atmosphere lively without being overbearing, and the staff attentive throughout. The food was excellent, with quality service and good vegetarian-friendly options.

"Insufficient Price Quality Ratio"

The location is undeniably beautiful, but the service leaves much to be desired. The waitress seemed disinterested and clearly unhappy to be there, while the manager appeared more focused on socializing than managing the dining room. Our bottle of water arrived lukewarm, there was no real follow-up at the table, and the dishes—particularly the pasta—were mediocre at best. With such high prices for such ordinary food and inattentive service, the overall value is quite poor.

"Good lunch spot with beautiful view!"

Beautiful location! We enjoyed lunch in the garden with stunning views of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The food was very good — we had salads and pastas, all fresh and flavorful. It is on the pricier side, but the combination of delicious food and such a charming setting made it well worth it.

"A disappointing dinner!"

The location and restaurant are undeniably beautiful, creating a wonderful first impression. However, the service fell short—our server seemed to forget about us at times and didn’t even offer Parmesan cheese for our pasta. We also had to ask for dessert menus, which disrupted the flow of the meal. While the food itself was very good, the overall experience didn’t live up to the standards or price point expected from a restaurant of this caliber.

"Beautiful setting"

Great service in a beautiful setting! The atmosphere is romantic and cozy, perfect for a lovely evening out. The food was absolutely delicious — we had the zucchini flowers, pesto pasta, and truffle pizza, all of which were perfectly prepared and full of flavor.

"Below average food in an above average location"

Cute spot with a lovely view, but the food was disappointing. We ordered an omelet, a croissant, and a coffee—none of which were particularly impressive. Since the basics missed the mark, we decided to skip dessert altogether.

"Should be excellent, but it was only “good”."

We visited this stylish restaurant after making a reservation several days in advance, excited to experience its reputation. Upon arrival, the greeting was a bit confusing — a hostess initially welcomed us but then redirected us to the back of a long queue, which felt unnecessary and poorly managed. Fortunately, once seated, another staff member kindly escorted us to our table, and our waiter was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. The food was delicious, and the white wine paired perfectly with our dishes. The restaurant itself is charming, composed of several rooms, but unfortunately, our dining experience was disrupted by a large group of about 15 people seated nearby. Their shouting and loud conversations turned the room into what felt like a noisy cafeteria, with noise levels reaching over 100 decibels. Despite multiple complaints from guests, there was little the staff could do since all tables were occupied. It’s disappointing that such a well-located restaurant near the Louvre does not have a separate area for large groups, as this significantly impacts the dining atmosphere. "Painful"

The kitchen is solid and the setting elegant, but our experience was spoiled by nearby guests watching videos on their smartphones without headphones and full volume. Despite politely asking them to use headphones several times, they ignored the request. Unfortunately, these trendy “see-and-be-seen” restaurants sometimes attract a clientele that lacks basic courtesy.

"Good pasta"

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with a charming and elegant atmosphere. The food was very good, especially the pasta and sea bass — both were flavorful and well-prepared. The wine selection was impressive but quite expensive, which may not appeal to everyone. Service was fine and attentive, though not particularly remarkable. I imagine the experience would be even better in the summer, when you can fully enjoy the restaurant’s picturesque location.

Loulou  Restaurant

Overlooking the Louvre, this stylish spot offers not just excellent food but also an outdoor terrace with splendid museum views. A perfect pairing of art and dining in one location.
