"A restaurant to discover"
A good restaurant offering a unique and thoughtfully curated menu. The staff provided excellent advice on wines by the glass, and the selection of bottles was impressive. Overall, a very solid and highly recommended address for a memorable dining experience.
"Yummy Food"
We absolutely loved our experience at this restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere charming. As tourists, we especially appreciated their set dinner menu, which made dining easy and enjoyable. The staff also provided excellent wine recommendations that paired perfectly with our meal. A truly memorable visit!
"Good tasty food and great service."
Good purposeful food served with wine selection per course. Good service and warm and friendly maitre de. Fix price menu is good value for money.
"Delicious homemade cuisine"
I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! The cuisine is exceptionally tasty, and the service is friendly and welcoming. The warm, inviting atmosphere makes it a pleasure to dine here. I will definitely return with great pleasure.
"Popular bistro"
A popular spot featuring a charming wine bar/bistro atmosphere and a very welcoming host. True to typical bistro style, the tables are quite close together, which may feel a bit cramped for some. We enjoyed a 4-course fixed market menu, which was well-prepared, tasty, and offered good value. While nothing was groundbreaking, it was solid, satisfying bistro cooking.
"Delicious food in a convivial atmosphere and great value for money"
We chose Les Papilles based on Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The atmosphere is convivial, and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, spoke excellent English, and took the time to explain the menu in detail. They even accommodated a request to swap the cheese for an alternative. Overall, Les Papilles offers excellent value for money—our four-course meal with drinks for two came to just over €100.
"Meals with friends"
The food was, as always, very enjoyable and well-prepared. However, I found it a bit off-putting that an extra €10 and €9 were added for two courses on a €49 menu. It would have been clearer and fairer if these dishes were simply included in the menu price.
"The best dinner during the weekend in Paris"
Great restaurant with very courteous and friendly staff. We started with a delicious pumpkin soup, followed by a phenomenal beef cheek main course with honey, thyme, and mustard—tender, flavorful, and accompanied by excellent vegetables. For dessert, we enjoyed a delightful combination of blue cheese with red wine plums and a chocolate pannacotta. This was our favorite restaurant during our stay in Paris. We were eager to return the next night, but unfortunately, it was closed.
"Medium"
The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is friendly. However, given its high rating and the enticing description of the fixed menu by the chef, we expected a flawless feast. The starter soup, creamy and enhanced with chorizo crumbs, was good and quite original. Unfortunately, the main course—an osso buco that was supposed to be slow-cooked for over three hours—was surprisingly tough, as if it had spent less than an hour in the oven. My friend couldn’t finish half her plate. The small piece of camembert was okay, and the chocolate panna cotta for dessert was unremarkable. Overall, we left rather disappointed; nothing stood out enough to make us want to return.
"A typical French Bistro…Good and Authentic!"
We dined at this bistro on the 7:00 shift and were immediately welcomed by courteous staff. Service was fast and precise, with the manager explaining the 4-course set menu in detail and with great courtesy. The food was excellent, fully embracing classic French style, with generous portions and rich flavors. The wine selection was outstanding, and the staff gave helpful recommendations for pairing with our dishes. The only drawback was the limited table space for two. We will definitely return!
