"An experience of Paris"
A really nice boutique hotel centrally located in Paris. The staff are friendly and made us feel very welcome. Room upgrades are available, adding to the experience. Breakfast is good, though there is some room for improvement. The elevator is small, accommodating a maximum of two people. The lobby offers two cozy areas to sit and socialize. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
"Small convenient hotel"
This small hotel is very well located, just a short walk from the Madeleine Metro station and about 20 minutes on foot from the Concorde. The surrounding streets are filled with chic shops, adding to the Parisian charm. The staff are decent and welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, though a bit small, with the upper-floor rooms being preferable for less noise from the metro, as soundproofing is limited. The shower has a good flow of hot water, and the breakfast is decent and varied, though the small breakfast room means it’s best to go early to secure a seat.

Chic and stylish rooms in a friendly boutique hotel where guests are made to feel special. The hotel is small and primarily caters to French speakers, but the desk staff speak fluent English, so communication is never an issue. Breakfast is delicious and made to order. CHAVANEL is very centrally located, with a Metro stop just a short walk away. We would return in a heartbeat.

"Lovely Hotel in a Lovely location!"
I go to Paris at least twice a year, and for years I had wanted to stay at Hotel Chavanel. I first discovered it while walking around four years ago, and finally had the chance to stay. The location is fabulous—close to all the best shops, just five minutes from Chanel, Hermès, and the major department stores, as well as museums and the Champs-Élysées. The hotel is small, with friendly staff, though I didn’t need recommendations as I know Paris better than my own hometown. I arrived very early on the hottest day of the year and, understandably, my room wasn’t ready. I left my luggage and went out for breakfast, returning around 11 a.m. to wait briefly until my room was prepared. The room was cozy, clean, and small—but who stays in their room all day in Paris anyway? The bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom excellent, the shower great, and the air conditioning perfect. I especially enjoyed the Nuxe toiletries, although there was no body lotion, which I had to purchase from a pharmacy. Hotel Chavanel has quickly become my new home in Paris. I can’t wait to return in a couple of months!

This hotel is ideal for travelers seeking modern design in a small hotel setting, without the services and high costs of larger hotels in this central Paris location. Many of the city’s iconic sights, including the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and Champs-Élysées, are within a pleasant half-hour walk. The rooms are a good size by Parisian standards, and the staff are friendly, professional, and attentive, making for a comfortable stay. The only drawback is the breakfast room, which is poorly lit, making it difficult to see your food. Improving the lighting here would elevate an already excellent experience and make the stay perfect.
