"Lovely boutique hotel in Nice neighbourhood"

A great little boutique hotel in a very convenient neighborhood, with easy walking access to many attractions and good metro connections nearby. The rooms are quirky and full of character, with very comfortable beds and pillows. Our room overlooked the internal courtyard, which made it wonderfully quiet, though front-facing rooms might be noisier. The ground-floor café serves a nice breakfast, and having a coffee machine and kettle in the room is a thoughtful touch. Special mention to Daria at reception, who was incredibly helpful and shared excellent tips. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, well-located stay in Paris.

"looks are deceiving"

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in mid-September. Knowing from experience that the smallest rooms can be very tiny, we booked a suite despite the higher cost, expecting windows and a large bathroom as shown in the images. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very small. The elevator is comically tiny—barely fitting two thin people standing sideways with a suitcase—and it was broken for most of our visit. Hallways are narrow, making it difficult when other guests are moving in or out of their rooms. Our room had one window in a corner that was inaccessible due to a cot taking up much of the floor space. The room was very dark. The bathroom, though large, flooded with an inch or so of water every time we showered because there was no glass or shower curtain, even though a shower head was installed. There was also visible water damage, likely due to this issue. When we submitted this feedback at the end of our stay, the hotel responded saying this room “was only for people who bathe” and suggested we should have known better and booked a different space. This response was both dismissive and absurd.

"A very nice little boutique hotel"

I can highly recommend this hotel! The location is ideal, with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops just outside, and within walking distance to good shopping and the nearest subway station. The staff were all friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Our triple room was clean and comfortable, with beds that ensured a good night’s sleep. The room faced the backyard, providing a peaceful and quiet environment even with the windows open. A wonderful choice for anyone visiting Paris.

"In need of refurb"

I’m not sure how old this hotel is, but based on my experience in the room, it is in desperate need of refurbishment. On arrival, everything initially seemed fine, but I soon noticed a large stain on the duvet, visible even through the sheet. We reported it to reception, and two staff members—one seemingly a manager—came up to address it. To her credit, the manager apologized and had the duvet replaced immediately, though we had to leave the room for about 10 minutes. While the manager blamed the laundering company, I would have expected such an issue to be noticed before our arrival. Unfortunately, this put an immediate dampener on our stay. Beyond the duvet, several aspects of the room were disappointing for a four-star hotel. The toilet roll holder looked cheap and the surrounding tiles appeared brown and worn. The shower head sprayed sporadically, suggesting it needed cleaning. The bath had several chips and appeared in need of re-enamelling or replacement. The strip at the bottom of the shower door was brown with mould, and the bathroom lacked adequate ventilation, causing steam to linger for an extended period. All of these issues combined made the overall experience underwhelming and not in keeping with the standards one expects from a four-star hotel in central Paris. This is particularly disappointing given the building’s beautiful exterior and its obvious potential. In recent years, I’ve preferred using Airbnb for similar stays, and this visit reminded me why. I will not be returning.

"Perfect. Extra charm and welcome!"

Quite simply, this is my favorite hotel in Paris, after staying at dozens over 40 years of professional life in the city. Honestly, I’d almost want to keep the address to myself! The art deco rooms are charming, the breakfast is excellent in a very pleasant setting, and the Panache team, led by Angelina, provides outstanding care and attention. Truly an exceptional experience—absolutely great 👍

"Pleasant hotel in a good location."

Hotel Panache is a very pleasant hotel with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. It is ideal for a short stay in Paris and offers good value for money, especially considering its location and reasonable pricing. The rooms are small but clean and cosy, and the hotel has a lovely ambience. Our only criticism was the bathroom in the superior double room we booked. The shower was very small, making it difficult to move comfortably. The mixer tap protruded significantly and caused the water temperature to fluctuate whenever we moved. Additionally, the bathroom had no window or extractor fan, which made it very steamy. Overall, if you are looking for a clean, reasonably priced hotel in Paris with friendly service, Hotel Panache is a solid choice.

"Somewhat hidden gem in Paris"

I had read the reviews before booking, so I knew what to expect. However, the front desk staff—Rainave, Michel, Angelina, and Daria—made us feel like guests in their own home. Every question we had about restaurants, shopping, or things to do was answered with helpful information. Everyone greeted us with a warm smile and genuine willingness to assist. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms, though small, were thoughtfully appointed. One tip: book an outside-facing room. Sitting by an open window with a glass of wine was an absolute treat!

"Charming hotel in great location"

This charming hotel is in a fantastic location, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. We loved our room (204) with a lovely balcony! Our teenage daughters stayed in the room next to ours, which worked perfectly for our family. Highly recommend this hotel for its charm, great price, excellent location, and attentive staff. We especially enjoyed mornings with coffee and evenings with wine on the balcony—truly memorable!

A very friendly and typical Parisian hotel with a welcoming team. The breakfast is complete and well-stocked. The hotel is very well located on the Grands Boulevards, offering a central position ideal for exploring the city. The room was very comfortable, making it suitable for any type of stay.
