"Exceptional"
When we travel, we always choose top luxury hotels such as the Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, or The Peninsula—but this was our first stay at the Four Seasons George V in Paris, and it truly surpassed them all. From the warm greetings at arrival to the exceptional service from every member of the staff, everything was impeccable. The room was elegant and comfortable, room service was flawless, and dining at the restaurant was an absolute highlight. This experience set a new standard, even compared to other Four Seasons properties we’ve stayed at. Congratulations to the management and team for maintaining such an extraordinary level of excellence. We will most certainly return.

However, I was a bit disappointed by the vegetarian tasting menu, which felt rather conventional and lacked the creativity or surprise one might expect at such an exceptional venue. Overall, it was a beautiful experience, but I hope the vegetarian options evolve to match the brilliance of the setting and service.

We’ve dined at the George V restaurants many times during our visits to Paris, but this was our first time actually staying at the hotel—and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Our expectations were far exceeded, and this is truly what a Palace hotel should feel like. From the moment we stepped inside, the service was warm, kind, and attentive. Every detail of our 25th anniversary celebration was handled perfectly, from arranging sold-out museum tickets and dining reservations to the thoughtful treats awaiting us in our room. The newly renovated rooms are stunning—elegant, comfortable, and filled with subtle, thoughtful touches. We especially loved our executive suite with a terrace, where we enjoyed champagne in the evening while catching glimpses of the twinkling Eiffel Tower lights. The client focus and hospitality at the George V are unmatched. Thank you for making our anniversary truly unforgettable!

"Times are changing"
We enjoyed an exceptional dinner at the Italian restaurant — magical and generous dishes, offering a splendid interpretation of Italian cuisine with a refined gastronomic touch. The service was efficient, and the sommelier provided excellent recommendations from a beautiful selection of Italian wines. However, two aspects were disappointing. After dinner, when we went to the bar for a drink, we were surprised to be told it was closing, even though the lounge was still full and it wasn’t late. For a luxury hotel, it’s surprising that guests dining at the last sitting cannot enjoy a proper after-dinner drink. Additionally, the dress code of some guests felt out of place for such an elegant establishment. Blazers and loafers seem to have been replaced by hoodies and slippers — a pity, as it takes away from the refined atmosphere this place was once known for. Overall, an outstanding culinary experience that deserves better attention to these finer details.

After nearly 17 years since our last visit, returning to the Four Seasons Hotel George V felt like coming home. The hotel has been beautifully updated, yet it retains its warm, familiar charm. The attention to detail that defines the Four Seasons experience is still very much alive — from acknowledging my wife’s birthday with a thoughtful treat to another staff member the next day kindly asking if she had enjoyed her celebration.
"hotel service needs to be improved"
I am truly disappointed. To begin with, there was once again no designated area for smokers. The service at the entrance was completely inattentive — my husband politely asked to have the patio door opened, and the staff responded rudely. This kind of attitude is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards expected from a hotel of this reputation and price range. For the same cost, I would highly recommend the Bristol instead. The level of service here urgently needs improvement to match the image of a true luxury establishment.

We spent just one night at this beautifully located hotel in the heart of the city, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. "Professional stuff and kind people but…"
The only issue we had during our stay in Paris was the water pressure in the room — it was impossible to take a shower if the sink or bathroom tap was being used at the same time. Also, the mattress was not very comfortable, as we could feel the difference between the twin beds pushed together instead of having a true king bed. But what truly disappointed me the most was learning that Four Seasons hotels do not offer any advantages or benefits for loyal customers. I travel for work around the world at least once a month and always choose to stay at Four Seasons, but realizing that loyalty isn’t recognized or valued was very disheartening.
