"Wonderful stay in the heart of Paris"
We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel, perfectly located for exploring the city. The staff went above and beyond, showing great attention to detail, especially with the birthday amenities for my girlfriend. Every request was handled promptly and graciously. Special thanks to the Front Office team for their friendly assistance, the Concierge team for their excellent recommendations, and the Guest Relations team (Anne and Team) for the fantastic room amenities that made our stay unforgettable.
"Great customer service"
Our stay at The Sofitel was a beautiful experience, made even more memorable by the outstanding service. A special mention goes to Wallid at breakfast—his warm, cheerful demeanor and attention to detail ensured we had everything we needed. I was truly impressed by his dedication to excellent customer service. Thanks to Wallid and the team for making our stay so enjoyable!
"Good place to stay"
The hotel is ideally located in the heart of luxury shopping streets, close to Place de la Madeleine, major department stores, and Place de la Concorde. The street is closed off due to the nearby American embassy, with armed guards everywhere, making car access tricky—on a rainy day we had to walk to the street exit to catch a taxi. Service from the bellmen was excellent, and the reception area is beautiful; we were warmly assisted at check-in by a Brazilian staff member. Our group of five—four adults and one child—stayed in a spacious apartment with two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, comfortable beds, and high-quality linens and towels. Breakfast was very good, with many à la carte options, though the coffee room felt small and tight, making service and movement a bit challenging. The inventive refrigerated closet for cold items and cheeses was inconvenient and could be improved. The concierge was very attentive and offered excellent tips, adding to an overall enjoyable stay.
"Ideal 5 Star Option in Paris"
My husband and I stayed at the Sofitel Faubourg in early July 2025 and loved every moment. The location is unbeatable, right on the corner of Hermes and other luxury shops, and just across from the Rosewood Hotel with its renowned cocktail bar. The Sofitel offers a fantastic 5-star option in this upscale Paris neighborhood without the $2,000+ nightly price tag. We stayed in a Collection Suite, ideal for two adults with 3–4 pieces of luggage, featuring dual sinks, multiple small closets, two TVs, and a cozy couch. Breakfast was excellent, especially the omelets, and enjoying morning coffee in the garden surrounded by lush plants was delightful. While the lobby could benefit from a renovation, the modern rooms more than make up for it.
"Great location&fantastic service&beautifull rooms."
This hotel boasts a fantastic location in Paris, making it very convenient for shopping and exploring the city. The staff are attentive, helpful, and provide excellent service throughout your stay. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the hotel also features a nice gym, adding to the overall comfort and convenience of the experience.
"Unbeatable location for shoppers"
The location of this hotel is unbeatable for anyone visiting Paris for luxury shopping. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, and a hostess personally escorted us to our suite. The suite itself was comfortable, though I wouldn’t say the décor or service matched the level of other 5-star hotels in Paris, such as the Four Seasons or Plaza Athénée. Breakfast was quite average, and the hotel could benefit from a renovation to elevate its luxury feel. That said, the overall experience was good, and I would definitely return—especially for the prime location. I stayed here in May 2024 for my honeymoon, and returning a year later for my anniversary, staying elsewhere, only made me appreciate how perfect this location truly is.
"Excellent experience"
Our stay at the Sofitel Le Faubourg was truly exceptional. From the warm and welcoming arrival to the impeccably attentive and highly professional staff, every detail was thoughtfully handled. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, allowing for restful nights, and the elegant atmosphere of the hotel made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this refined Parisian address for anyone seeking both comfort and sophistication.
"Nice, but not perfect."
Overall, we had a very nice stay, though the hotel didn’t feel quite perfect. I would have rated it 4.5 stars if possible. The location is absolutely top-notch, even if arriving by car is a bit tricky due to the road closure near the presidential palace—but the friendly police were accommodating. The service was very good overall, with nothing to complain about. However, the room felt a bit worn, with flaked paint on the door and some stains on the walls, and the breakfast left something to be desired. At these prices, I would have expected a wider selection of fruits and vegetables, and the coffee was barely drinkable. Dinner at the restaurant was just okay and not something I’d repeat. On the bright side, the hotel offered charming little surprises for the kids.
"Art, Elegance and 5 Star Service"
We enjoyed a remarkable three-day stay at this elegant hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Paris. The staff were attentive, professional, and always available, ensuring a seamless experience. Breakfast stood out for its quality and exceptional variety, while the art throughout the hotel created a unique and sophisticated atmosphere. This establishment truly embodies comfort, refinement, and excellence, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable Parisian experience.
"Good hotel in a fantastic location"
Service at the hotel was excellent, and the rooms were satisfactory with particularly impressive closet space. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, but the location more than made up for it—just steps away from great shopping and restaurants. The only downside was the lobby, which felt soulless and could benefit from a thoughtful redecoration.
