"Nice days in Paris"
Super central location with very nice, friendly, and attentive staff. We stayed in a beautiful room equipped with every imaginable amenity, ensuring a truly comfortable experience. Breakfast was excellent, offering quality and variety. The hotel’s position is ideal — just a pleasant walk from the Louvre, the Seine, and the Champs-Élysées. A wonderful stay that combines comfort, service, and unbeatable convenience in the heart of Paris.
"The best part of this hotel is doormen!"
Overall service was good, and the doormen were excellent. However, the duty manager was problematic — she called us at 12:30 pm on our last day asking us to check out, even though we had a confirmed late check-out from the first day. During check-out, our bill was also incorrect, showing an extra €151 charge for breakfast that was already included, and the manager didn’t seem concerned. The room felt a bit old compared to other locations we’ve stayed in (HK, SG, and Taiwan), which were much better maintained. Unfortunately, we probably won’t return to this Paris property, though we’d still consider other branches.
"Best location and service in Paris by far."
Smiles and warmth at every moment! The front door team remembered us from our previous visit and were absolutely charming and incredibly helpful. It truly is the people who make the difference — and MOPAR has the very best. A heartfelt thank you to the team for making our stay so memorable once again.
"MO, Paris – with beautiful garden and room needs remodeling."
The hotel’s location in the heart of Paris is perfect — convenient for sightseeing and world-class shopping. We received a warm welcome from Mr. Richard, Director of Front House, and Adrien Plaine, Assistant Front Office Manager, who ensured our stay was pleasant. We also appreciated the room upgrade with a terrace through the Amex Fine Hotels program. The garden is beautiful, and the public spaces are elegantly decorated with an enchanting scent in the lobby. Service throughout the hotel was excellent and efficient, and we truly love the Mandarin Oriental Paris. However, the hotel’s infrastructure is starting to show its age. Some room furniture, the mattress, sink, and closet designs are not very functional (the closet couldn’t even fit a carry-on suitcase flat). The low platform bed also wasn’t ideal for a luxury stay. Hopefully, future renovations will address these details. Aside from that, the experience was outstanding and almost a perfect 10.
"Best hotel in the WORLD!"
Absolutely PERFECT! We’ve loved the Mandarin Oriental Paris since the day it opened, but with the new General Manager, Edouard Lapasset, we love it even more. The warmth and professionalism of the team, the immaculate rooms, and the thoughtful way they remember every personal request — from the smallest details to the grandest — make this hotel truly exceptional. Without a doubt, it remains the best hotel in the world!
"Exquisite hotel in the center of Paris, where you can save on breakfast."
The hotel boasts an unbeatable location in the best shopping area of Paris, with all major luxury brands just a short walk away. The furnishings and amenities meet the high Mandarin Oriental standard, offering comfort and sophistication throughout. Staff are elegant and polished, providing the refined service one expects from MO. However, breakfast was a disappointment — the selection was limited, portions were small, and refills were slow to come. For a hotel of this level, it felt underwhelming. Overall, an excellent stay for shopping and luxury, but breakfast quality could use improvement. (Tip: it’s about a 50-minute taxi ride from CDG Airport, with a flat rate of €56.)
"Great stay in Paris"
We had a wonderful experience at the hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in every area, with special thanks to the amazing concierge team who arranged excellent tours and guides for us on very short notice. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, served by an equally friendly team. The location was perfect — quiet, yet within walking distance of all major attractions. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
"Where is the soap?"
I’m usually a big fan of the Mandarin Oriental brand, but something about the Paris location seems off — especially when it comes to soap. We’ve been here five days, and since day three I’ve had to ask for soap daily. Not extra soap. Just soap. The room has both a tub and a shower, but to wash my hair I have to climb out of the tub to reach the wall-mounted shampoo and conditioner. Initially, there were small tubes by the bathtub, but they vanished after day three. When I requested toiletries, I only received another big bottle of body wash — not helpful for shampooing! For a hotel charging $2K a night, this feels disappointing. No bath salts either, which would’ve been a nice touch. On the positive side, the concierge team has been wonderful — polite, professional, and helpful. But the housekeeping inconsistency is strange and not up to the usual Mandarin Oriental standard.
"Perfect"
Great location, excellent breakfast, stylish bar, beautiful garden, and warm, attentive service throughout. Everything was perfect — a truly delightful experience. Highly recommended!
"Fine dining"
The room was small but perfectly adequate — expected for major cities like Paris or New York. Breakfast gets quite busy around 9 a.m., so I recommend going earlier, around 7 a.m., for a more relaxed experience. The fine dining options were excellent, and the heated pool was a wonderful bonus after a day out. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, with top shopping just steps away. As expected in Paris, the streets are narrow and bustling, so prepare for the occasional bump in the crowd. The concierge team was efficient and helpful throughout. Overall, a well-rounded stay with great service and convenience.
