"Clean rooms and great location"
Our stay at Hotel Artemide was very comfortable. The beds were cozy, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The free minibar and fast Wi-Fi were very convenient. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only minor drawback was that the spa prices seemed a bit high, but overall, it was a very good experience.
"Honeymoon in Italy"
Our stay at Hotel Artemide in Rome was truly exceptional from start to finish. The service was outstanding, with every staff member going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our room was always perfectly cleaned and fully stocked, and the team was incredibly helpful in arranging rides and answering any questions we had. The hotel exudes a warm, cozy atmosphere, making it easy to relax after long days exploring the city. A highlight was the rooftop bar, which is absolutely amazing. On our last night, Mauricio served some of the best signature espresso martinis we’ve ever had—an unforgettable way to end our time in Rome. We would definitely love to stay at Hotel Artemide again. While it was a bit of a splurge for our honeymoon, it was worth every moment. Highly recommended!
"A very good experience"
Hotel Artemide is excellent, and this was my second time staying here. While not a very large hotel, it is perfectly located within walking distance of Termini Station. The rooms are small but clean, well-organized, and comfortable, with very good bathrooms. Breakfast is outstanding, and the rooftop bar offers lovely views. One feature I particularly appreciate is the electric kettle for tea and the minibar, which includes beer, soft drinks, juice, water, and snacks—all free and restocked daily. The only minor downside is that the pillows are quite firm, but this doesn’t affect my overall impression. I truly enjoy this hotel and would gladly return.
"Hotel Artemide, Rome Italy"
We stayed at Hotel Artemide in Rome for our 50th anniversary in September, and it was absolutely amazing! The service was unbelievable—they welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a card, and even allowed us early check-in after traveling from the US. Our room was lovely, not huge but beautifully appointed, with a small balcony that was a delightful surprise. The free minibar, restocked daily, was a very convenient touch. The hotel’s central location makes most of Rome’s attractions easily walkable, though we took a cab to the Vatican for our tour (just be cautious and check that meters are working!). The hotel also arranged a phenomenal tour to Pompeii and Sorrento, which is a must-do. Breakfast was outstanding, and the staff in the breakfast room were exceptionally kind and attentive. We also highly recommend taking advantage of the hop-on-hop-off bus in Rome—it’s a great way to explore the city without overexerting yourself. Overall, Hotel Artemide is the perfect place to stay while visiting Rome, and we had a truly memorable experience!
"Almost Faultless Hotel (except for one easy fix please!)"
Hotel Artemide is a lovely property and almost faultless. The location is superb, within easy walking distance of all major sights. The rooms come with complimentary water and wine, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and multilingual. Breakfast is a real treat, making for a wonderful stay overall. However, as a solo female traveler, I was uneasy about the lack of an internal door lock, chain, or peephole. While reception mentioned a blue light outside the door to indicate occupancy, this does not provide real security. On day five, a housekeeping error left a universal staff door card in my room, which could have allowed access to any room—a serious safety concern. To feel secure at night, I had to buy a door wedge. I strongly urge Hotel Artemide to install proper door locks or bolts to ensure guest safety.
"You will love every moment"
This was our second stay at the hotel, and we enjoyed an upgraded deluxe room for two. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring Italian specialties and homemade bread that you can slice yourself. The staff were fantastic—the hardworking girl with the bun, the tall girl with long black hair who was simply magical, and the cheerful gentleman who welcomes guests all made our stay memorable. For the best experience, we recommend booking directly through the hotel’s website.
"Great staff, room not so great"
We stayed here for four nights during our honeymoon and received a warm welcome from the amazing staff. Our room, 115, had a terrace and a comfortable bed, but it was quite dark due to the single window/door not letting in much light. We also occasionally heard noise from the floors above through the ventilation when others were using the bathroom—minor, but noticeable. The free minibar was a nice touch. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable, though bathroom cleaning could have been a bit better.
"Hotel Artemide is a classy choice close to attractions and transportation"
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Hotel Artemide in Rome. I chose it for its central location, which is walkable to the rail station and many historic sites. Upon arrival, the hotel’s calm and classy atmosphere was a welcome contrast to the busy streets outside. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. We were pleasantly upgraded to a larger room, though guests should note that rooms are generally smaller than in modern American hotels. We dined twice at the Ambrosia rooftop restaurant, which is charming and offers picturesque views of the city skyline. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary, with an incredible variety of choices, and the staff kindly packed us breakfast to go on two occasions when we had early tours. We also enjoyed a couples massage at the Artemis Spa for a very reasonable $75 per person, along with the saunas and pool. Overall, we highly recommend Hotel Artemide for an exceptional Roman stay.
"Very lovely hotel in a good central location."
This hotel is a lovely place to stay, ideally located near Rome’s main attractions. The property is beautifully designed, with marble, chrome, and chic furnishings creating a cool, stylish atmosphere. The rooms are a bit small but attractive and comfortable, and the bathrooms are particularly lovely. Breakfast was superb, with a wide selection of foods served in an elegant dining room. The breakfast and cleaning staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, though the reception area, while efficient and competent, felt slightly less warm—understandably busy. The waiting area is beautiful, though improved air conditioning and cold water availability would enhance comfort. One minor surprise was the POS machine offering a gratuity option when settling the bill, which felt a bit awkward. Overall, a very impressive hotel, and I would definitely return on a future visit to Rome.
"Exceptional experience"
We had a fantastic three-night stay at Hotel Artemide. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, including the bed, and featured high-quality amenities such as a complimentary minibar replenished daily. Breakfast service was exceptional, with a wide range of delicious options. The hotel’s location is perfect—within walking distance of the Colosseum, Pantheon, Piazza di Spagna, and Piazza Navona, and conveniently close to public transport. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when visiting Rome.
