"Modern, Clean and relaxing Central Hotel – Loved it"
This hotel offers a perfect central location for sightseeing in Rome. The property is modern, clean, and has a nice, relaxing ambience. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar, both in the evening for drinks and in the morning for breakfast. A comfortable and convenient choice for exploring the city.
"Great location close to various attractions"
The hotel is in a great location, though taxis or transfers don’t drop you directly at the door. The on-site café offers reasonably priced options, and the rooms are well maintained with daily towel changes.
"Great location, disappointing service"
Visited the rooftop bar with a reservation, even as non-hotel guests. The location is fantastic, and the drinks were excellent, with most staff polite and attentive, also serving food. Unfortunately, one male staff member was noticeably unwelcoming from the moment we arrived, which was disappointing and detracted from an otherwise lovely experience.
"Would visit this hotel again no question"
Lovely hotel with a fantastic location. The rooms were very nice, and the in-room coffee machine made excellent coffee. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and well-presented. The rooftop bar was plush, and we enjoyed excellent pizza there. The drinks selection was decent but could have included more beer options and was a bit pricey. We didn’t try breakfast due to a nut allergy, and the selection seemed somewhat limited. Despite this, the beds were incredibly comfortable, making it one of the best sleeps we’ve had, and the hotel is an excellent base for exploring Rome.
"Rooftop Bar and Wonderful Views!"
We walked to the Trevi Fountain in the evening and had drinks at another restaurant. The Trevi area was really crowded, as always. We walked down the street to 9Hotel Cesari because of the rooftop bar and took a chance we could get a table for our group of 8. It was a weeknight and there were a lot of people there, but we got a table. It was a beautiful evening and the noisy atmosphere was so fun. We had drinks and dinner. The service and food were excellent and we had such a fun time. We ordered spritzes and some bottles of local wine and enjoyed the comfortable and friendly atmosphere. To get above the city in Rome is a treat. 9Hotel Cesari is a wonderful place.
"Great Location"
The hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and the Colosseum—everything felt easily accessible. Our room was clean and well-appointed with robes, slippers, a luggage rack, and even a towel warmer. It was quite small, which is typical for Rome, and there wasn’t much of a view, but the water pressure was excellent. The rooftop bar offered a great vibe, and we enjoyed visiting both nights of our stay. The main downside was street noise; even on the 4th floor, it was loud late at night and early in the morning, with sounds like glass being dumped. Earplugs are recommended for light sleepers.
"First time in Rome: 9Hotel Cesari"
We spent 4 nights at 9Hotel Cesari at the end of May and are very glad we chose it for our first stay in Rome. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to all the main sights, and conveniently accessible by taxi without navigating cobblestones with luggage. The hotel is modern and well-kept, and our Superior room was spacious, clean, and equipped with basic amenities like a hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, bathrobe, and slippers. They even accommodated our request for twin beds. The room offered good isolation; with three windows overlooking the street, it was quiet enough for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was adequate, and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the rooftop bar twice in the evenings, which had live music on weekends and basic dishes like pizza and tacos. With so many restaurants nearby, finding lunch or dinner options was easy. As others mentioned, the elevator is a bit slow, but there is a service elevator available. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily choose 9Hotel Cesari again for our next visit to Rome.
"City break"
A very good hotel in the heart of Rome’s old town, with all main attractions within walking distance. The breakfast buffet on the beautiful rooftop terrace was a highlight, and the bar added a lovely touch to the stay. Overall, we were very satisfied and enjoyed the central location and pleasant amenities.
"Great Hotel in Downtown Rome"
This hotel is excellent, perfectly located in downtown Rome within walking distance to many of the city’s main attractions. Our room was a very good size for a city-center hotel, comfortable and well-appointed. Breakfast was excellent and served on the rooftop patio, offering a lovely start to the day. While there is some street noise at night, that’s to be expected in such a central location. Overall, a fantastic stay—I would definitely choose this hotel again.
"fantastic location.. excellent staff.. a few minor upgrades to the room would be good"
Fantastic location, roughly halfway between the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. The staff were welcoming and very helpful, and breakfast was excellent, with plenty of pastries and croissants, though hot items were limited. We only deducted one star due to minor room issues: the air conditioning didn’t seem functional (not a problem in March), and storage was limited, with just one built-in wardrobe and no drawers for smaller items. Otherwise, a highly recommended stay!
