"Relaxing stay with a boutique feel"
This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of Vatican City. The breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of options for everyone, and the cappuccinos were the best we had in all of Italy—freshly made every morning. The hotel itself is very clean, with well-kept rooms, and has a charming boutique feel. While amenities are minimal, the staff is friendly and attentive, making for a very pleasant stay overall. We were very happy with our experience.
"Nice hotel, well located but icy welcome"
A nice hotel with attractive decor and a fantastic location, close to central Rome attractions. The breakfast was very good and served by friendly staff, making mornings enjoyable. On the downside, the reception felt cold and unhelpful both in the morning and evening, which is disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, there were no complimentary bottles of water in the rooms, and shower/shampoo gel was not replenished for the second night.
"My must-see hotel in Rome"
This hotel is perfectly situated, within easy reach of all the essential monuments and attractions. The staff are professional, attentive, and friendly, ensuring a welcoming stay. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and meticulously cleaned, while the breakfast is excellent and well-presented. Overall, it’s a highly recommended choice for anyone traveling to Rome.
"Good, but needs a few adjustments"
We stayed for three nights in January in a triple room. The location is fantastic, in a lovely area, and check-in was simple with very friendly staff. Breakfast was wonderful and made mornings easy and enjoyable. However, for the price, the room amenities fell short. There was no proper coffee—only instant packets with a kettle—which feels very out of place in Italy, a country renowned for its coffee culture. Another issue was the lack of mirrors; in a room for three people, this made getting ready inconvenient. These shortcomings were enough that, despite the great location and service, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again and cannot recommend it for a future Rome visit.

We had a very good stay at this hotel. The staff were always smiling and welcoming, making us feel at home. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the breakfast fully met our expectations. A great choice for a hassle-free stay in Rome.
"Great location and hotel"
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, and having a terrace to sit out on was an absolute joy. The roof terrace bar was perfect for an evening aperitif, and breakfast was very nice with high-quality food. Our room was elegantly decorated, the bed extremely comfortable, and the hotel was clean and bright throughout. The location was ideal for sightseeing, and we would definitely return.
"Nice smaller hotel in great location."
This smaller hotel offers a charming stay in a fantastic location, perfectly situated for exploring Rome. You can walk to Vatican City in one direction and the Colosseum and Roman Forum in the other. Piazza Navona is just two blocks away, while the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain are only 10–15 minutes on foot. The hotel provides a nice breakfast in the morning and a cozy bar to relax in during the afternoon. Ideal for travelers who want a central base to explore the city on foot.
"Beautiful September visit to Rome."
We had an amazing experience at Hotel Damaso. Our Deluxe Double room featured a beautiful terrace with breathtaking views of the city, making our stay extra special. The staff were exceptional—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with cabs and transfers. Breakfast was fantastic, and both the room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. A truly memorable stay!
"Good location"
This hotel is ideally located, making it easy to explore Rome’s main attractions. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and attentive, and the breakfast—along with the breakfast team—was excellent. The property is clean and well-maintained. The only downside was the beds, which were extremely firm and made sleeping difficult during our three-night stay. Aside from that, the overall experience was very positive and enjoyable.
"3-star hotel that looks like 4."
We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel feels more like a 4-star than a 3-star, with a very good room, excellent location, and a wonderful breakfast. The staff at the lobby were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. On top of that, the value for money is outstanding—highly recommended!
