"Enjoyable experience"
We had a lovely experience at this hotel! Our room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. The staff were amazing and welcoming—Stefania brightened our mornings at breakfast, and Grace provided sweet and personable turndown service. The concierge was incredibly helpful, offering excellent restaurant recommendations. Most attractions were within a 15–20 minute walk, making the location very convenient. Our only minor complaints were the high price of beer at the lobby bar and loud music from the rooftop bar past midnight. Aside from that, our stay was fantastic, and we would happily return in the future.

It is difficult to rate this hotel, as it has both positives and negatives. Overall, the hotel is nice, and the staff are good, with the concierge desk and lobby bar staff being particularly excellent. However, cleanliness is a major issue—the hallway carpets are absolutely disgusting, and the carpet in our room was filthy and badly stained. The front desk also seemed understaffed whenever we visited. While some aspects of the hotel are enjoyable, we would not stay here again due to the poor cleanliness.
"Great customer service, dirty rooms"
The customer service at this hotel is excellent, with the front desk team providing top-notch support throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the rooms themselves are outdated and not well maintained for the price charged. The carpet was visibly dirty, with dark stains throughout, and while hotel slippers were provided, they appeared heavily used and stained, making them unhygienic to wear. While the service was impressive, the quality and upkeep of the rooms fell short of expectations for this price point.

We had a wonderful stay in Italy, made even more enjoyable by the exceptional care from the housekeepers, Carmen and Georgiana. They were extremely professional, attentive, and welcoming, handling everything promptly and with a friendly attitude. The cleanliness and organization of the property were excellent, and their dedication truly enhanced our experience. Many thanks for their care and support—we highly recommend them!
"Anatara Always"
A beautiful hotel with luxurious amenities, making our stay truly first-class. Check-in was seamless, which was a relief after a long flight. We were met at the airport by a transfer who kindly insisted on handling our two largest bags, and the short walk to the vehicle was manageable despite the heat. The included breakfast was a delicious buffet with a wide variety of options, and we could also order from the menu if we wished. Our room was stocked with high-end toiletries, and the room attendant did a wonderful job organizing our clothing and bathroom area. The beds were comfortable with luxurious linens, making our stay exceptionally enjoyable.
"A Tale of Two Different Hotels"
This hotel is truly a tale of two experiences. The architecture is stunning, the common areas are beautiful, and the staff are unfailingly polite. However, the guest room tells a different story. Our junior suite, while nicely appointed with a great view overlooking the Diocletian Baths, was very dated. Both the bedroom carpet and bathroom floors were badly stained, and the fixtures looked old. The well-known hot water issue is real—you need to run the water for 10–15 minutes before it gets hot, which is unacceptable in a 1,400 Euros/night suite. On a positive note, the buffet breakfast was excellent and easily the best we’ve had in Rome.

My husband and I stayed for two nights at this magnificent hotel in the heart of Rome and had an excellent experience. The services were impeccable, but what truly stood out was the attention to detail from all staff members. From breakfast to the cleanliness of the room, and even the cocktails in the lobby, every aspect of our stay was carefully attended to, making it a memorable visit.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and had an excellent experience. The rooms were comfortable, the location was ideal, and the service was truly outstanding. Special thanks to Stefania and Carlos at the buffet breakfast in restaurant Fontana for their attentive care—we’re going to miss them! From the concierge to Carlos and Roberto, every staff member contributed to a memorable stay.

This hotel is fantastic! I often return when in Rome for work and am always impressed by the great service, attention to detail, and warm welcome. It’s a shame my trips are always so short, as I would love to stay longer. Many thanks to all the staff for making each visit memorable!
