"Nice hotel in a non-tourist location 15 minutes from Termini"
From Termini Station, the hotel is about a 15-minute leisurely walk. We booked almost three weeks in advance and found an excellent value-for-money option. We arrived around 1 p.m. and were immediately checked in. Our room, with two separate beds overlooking the courtyard, was quiet at night. The hotel has an elevator, and the room was spacious with an updated bathroom. Amenities included shower gel, toiletries, and sufficient towels, although there was no kettle and the blankets could be improved. The hairdryer was a bit outdated, but otherwise everything was functional. The lobby is cozy, and breakfast was excellent—rich, high-quality slices, fresh fruit, delicious croissants, and coffee. The hotel is located on a small street with local cafés, where the atmosphere is authentic and prices reasonable. Dining outside the hotel is recommended over the tourist-heavy center. The only minor downside was the 6-euro tourist tax per night per person. Despite some issues with the city streets and crowds, we found the hotel safe and very comfortable. We would gladly stay here again.
"Average hotel with uncomfortable beds"
We booked two rooms at the Laurentia and were somewhat disappointed with their size and the comfort of the beds, which were quite firm. Breakfast was acceptable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is not far from the train station, though some nearby areas felt a bit shady.
"Great service, Older style. Good location"
The staff were fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast offered a nice and tasty range of options. Our room was small and had an old-style charm, but it included everything we needed. The hotel is in a quiet location, yet conveniently close to restaurants, food shops, bars, and bus stops, with only a short walk to the train station. A great balance of comfort and accessibility.

"First time in Rome, in a hotel."
This hotel is very good, offering a perfect room and an abundant breakfast. The staff are competent, friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The receptionist speaks French very well, which is a great help. The location is just south of Rome’s central Stazione Termini, only a 15-minute walk, with buses, trams, and plenty of restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this hotel to tourists looking for a convenient and well-priced stay in Rome.

"Very nice hotel very good price"
Hotel Laurentia is ideally located in the San Lorenzo district, just a short walk from Termini Central Station, putting the best restaurants and main attractions of Rome within easy reach. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the cleanliness is excellent, with towels and sheets changed daily. Thanks to the hotel’s convenient location, we were able to explore almost all of Rome’s monuments on foot.
"Excellent Stay with Outstanding Service"
The hotel was easy to reach and very clean. Our room was spacious, perfect for three people, and the elevator was a huge plus. Check-in was smooth, and Cosmo was absolutely fabulous—friendly, helpful, and full of great suggestions for food and getting around town. Our friends, who stayed longer, also received excellent guidance for their sightseeing plans. The hotel was very accommodating, allowing them to store their luggage during a two-day break before returning. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices, and the coffee machine was fantastic. The only downside was the peaches in syrup, which had fruit flies, but everything else was great!
"Recommendation"
The staff at this hotel is professional and friendly, making our stay very pleasant. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the university. The hotel itself is nice and offers great value for the cost. After check-out, we returned in the late afternoon for baggage claim and were kindly offered coffee as a gift. I highly recommend this hotel.
"Neat hotel with friendly staff but not ideal in winter"
Nice hotel with very friendly service and well-maintained, clean rooms. However, it is not suitable for winter stays: the air conditioning blows warm air only from 7 p.m. to midnight, and the radiator in the bathroom does not work, making it freezing when showering. The room also has only two sockets (one of which worked) and none in the bathroom. The location is convenient, with many attractions within walking distance and public transport nearby. Breakfast is provided and of good quality.
