"Centrally located hotel with friendly staff"
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Michael and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Our room was a good size with a very comfortable bed, and we were pleasantly surprised by a charming balcony. The hotel’s location is excellent, within walking distance to all the major sites in Rome, making it a very convenient base for exploring the city.
"Average."
The rooms at the hotel are new and very clean, and the reception staff were pleasant and welcoming. However, the breakfast was unsatisfactory, and the mattresses were quite hard. Considering the price paid, I expected a higher level of comfort and service.
"Tour Rome from this hotel"
This hotel is one of the quirkiest I’ve ever stayed in, with a room in an unusual, compact space—but it worked perfectly. The location is excellent, just a short walk from several historical monuments. Breakfast could be improved, but overall, it’s a charming and convenient choice for exploring the city.
"Great stay"
This hotel is perfectly located for sightseeing, with many popular restaurants nearby. The staff—both at reception and breakfast—were very helpful. Traveling with my daughter, we were even upgraded to a better room at no extra charge, which made our stay very comfortable. Although our room was above a bar, the windows were well insulated and completely quiet, proving that city center noise isn’t an issue here. The hotel also arranged a taxi for us, which was cheaper than Uber and payable by card. Breakfast is simple, but reasonable for the price. Overall, a welcoming hotel in a fantastic location—I highly recommend it.
"Good hotel located in the heart of historic Rome"
The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Rome’s historic center, with all major attractions—including the Spanish Steps, Colosseum, and Roman Forum—within a 15–20 minute walk. We stayed in a standard double room. While the bathroom was a bit small, the room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with perfectly working air conditioning. Breakfast offered a great variety and was delicious. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner, making it a very convenient base for exploring Rome.
"Wonderful hotel , great location"
This hotel is very close to the Colosseum and within walking distance of many other major sights. I stayed in a single room, which was perfect for a solo traveler—so cozy that I almost didn’t want to check out! If you prefer not to hunt for breakfast elsewhere, the breakfast package is highly recommended, offering a wide variety of delicious options for every taste. The aperitif cheese was especially outstanding. A wonderful choice for both location and comfort.
"Great Location"
My family and I stayed at Hotel Navona for four nights while visiting Rome, and the location was excellent—most major attractions were within a 20-minute walk. Our room was large and clean, with two bedrooms giving our kids their own space. There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, which was very convenient. Breakfast wasn’t included, but we enjoyed exploring local bakeries for under $10 each morning. The main downside was the noise—our corner room faced two streets, and it felt as if the windows didn’t block the sounds of traffic and conversations. Some rooms facing the courtyard might be quieter. Despite the noise, we managed to sleep well after the first night, and overall, the excellent location and spacious room made our stay worthwhile.
"An exceptional staff in a beautiful hotel with a perfect location ."
This was our second time staying at Hotel Navona, and once again, it was an excellent experience. The staff are incredibly kind and gracious, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and spotless, with daily housekeeping service maintaining exceptional cleanliness throughout the hotel. The elevator was a real convenience, but the true stars were Claudia and Erico at the front desk—they handled every request, big or small, with professionalism and warmth, often going out of their way to assist. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rome!
"Very good option in Rome"
We stayed in January with 2 adults and a 10-year-old child. The hotel is ideally located next to Piazza Navona, with countless restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The reception staff were very friendly, and we were upgraded to a fantastic suite with two bedrooms, a hydromassage tub, and two showers—truly comfortable for our family. The only downside was a miscommunication regarding laundry; we left some clothes for washing, but after two days, nothing had been done, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a great location.
"Convenient but not for multi day stay."
The hotel is conveniently located near Piazza Navona, and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. Towels were excellent, and the service for airport transport requires double-checking with the staff. However, the twin beds were underwhelming, and the showers could have been cleaner. Access from the alley to the reception is difficult, especially with large or multiple pieces of luggage, and the street entrance is not very attractive. Overall, a mixed experience with great location but some logistical challenges.
Hotel Navona
Simple, affordable hotel near Piazza Navona — great for travelers who want historic centre access without a big price tag.
