"Nice hotel, well located but icy welcome"
This hotel boasts a lovely decoration and an excellent location, close to many of Rome’s central attractions. Breakfast is very good, and the staff are friendly and attentive. However, the reception felt rather cold both in the morning and evening, with little guidance or advice offered—a disappointment for a hotel of this standard. Additionally, no bottled water was provided in the rooms, and shower gel/shampoo was not replenished on the second night. Overall, a pleasant stay but some service aspects could be improved.
"My must-see hotel in Rome"
This hotel boasts a prime location, within easy walking distance of all major monuments in Rome. The staff are professional, attentive, and consistently pleasant, making guests feel welcome throughout their stay. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably cleaned daily. Breakfast is varied and enjoyable, adding to the overall positive experience. For travelers seeking convenience, comfort, and attentive service, this hotel is an excellent choice in Rome.
"Good, but needs a few adjustments"
We stayed for three nights in January in a triple room. The location is fantastic, and the surrounding area is lovely. Check-in was simple, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was wonderful. However, for the price of the rooms, there are notable shortcomings. There is no proper coffee in the room—only instant packets with a kettle—which feels out of place in Italy, a country known for its coffee culture. Additionally, the lack of secondary mirrors in a triple room made getting ready inconvenient. While the positives are nice, these issues are significant enough that we would not stay here again and cannot recommend it for future visits to Rome.

"Relaxing stay with a boutique feel"
This hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to Vatican City, making it ideal for sightseeing. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of options for all tastes, and the cappuccinos are outstanding—the best we had anywhere in Italy. The rooms and hotel are very clean, and the staff are friendly, giving it a welcoming boutique feel. While amenities are minimal, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend it for anyone looking for a convenient and charming base in Rome.
"Great location and hotel"
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, and having a terrace was such a delight. The rooftop terrace bar was perfect for an aperitif, offering a lovely setting to relax. Breakfast was very nice, with good quality food, and the rooms were beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds. The hotel is clean, bright, and ideally located for sightseeing. We would definitely return!
"Nice smaller hotel in great location."
This smaller hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Rome, just two blocks from Piazza Navona. You can easily walk to Vatican City in one direction and the Colosseum and ancient ruins in the other. The Pantheon and Trevi Fountain are only 10–15 minutes away. Breakfast is simple but pleasant, and the hotel also offers a bar in the afternoon. A convenient and well-located choice for exploring the city on foot.
"Beautiful September visit to Rome."
We had an amazing experience at Hotel Damaso. Our Deluxe Double room featured a beautiful terrace with stunning city views. The staff was incredibly helpful, assisting us with cabs and transfers. Breakfast was fantastic, and both the room and bathroom were very comfortable and well-appointed. Highly recommended!
"Good location"
This hotel is perfectly located for exploring Rome, with easy access to major attractions. The staff were knowledgeable, kind, and attentive, and the breakfast and breakfast service were excellent. The property itself was clean and well-maintained. However, the beds were extremely firm—so much so that it made for uncomfortable nights over a three-night stay. Aside from the challenging sleep, everything else about the stay was very positive.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was very comfortable, the location excellent, and the breakfast outstanding. The lobby staff were friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Overall, great value for money – definitely deserves more than 4 stars!
